I really don't get what you are arguingOriginally posted by foresterbloke View PostTo be a human yes.
Yes players make mistakes but some make far more than others....
I would rather have VVD and Kompany than GomezBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

he looked really comfortable on the ball and played some really intelligent first time balls which took the pressure off. The way he is progressing he will find himself a starting spot in the team even when Clyne is back.

He's brilliant and he's been fantastic since returning from his injury. A lot of credit has to go to Klopp for bringing him through this last year.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

The World Cup I can cope with - the players have a bit of ambition to play in it, and its the World Cup after all. But friendlies and qualifying tournaments can **** right off. How are they even allowed to have friendlies given the amount of money invested in these players, and the nations get them for free? It makes no sense.Originally posted by Chris View PostThat looked a bit nasty. I detest Internationals with everything I've got.

I'm not a big fan of internationals but I find that argument a bit strange. Since when is money the most important factor in football?Originally posted by Daniel 7 View PostThe World Cup I can cope with - the players have a bit of ambition to play in it, and its the World Cup after all. Don't we all spend most of our time railing against that principle when it applies to football we care about?

From the club's perspective. They invest a huge amount of money in the players via transfer fees, signing on fees and wages, but the nations have the right to take those multi million pound assets, risk them in friendly games and subject them to out of the ordinary training regimes sometimes against the advice of the club.Originally posted by Saveloy View PostI'm not a big fan of internationals but I find that argument a bit strange. It's amazing it happens really.
