Well I'm cutting him some slack given it was the first time he'd played there.

The team setup didn't do him any favours either - an entire midfield that had never played together (and two of them academy players)

For me he 'did a Milner' and took one for the team played out of position because that was what the team needed, it wasn't his best game but he did his job fair play to him.
