I really like the look of Hoever, and unsurprisingly i reckon he could be a better option than Gomez at RB despite the infancy of his career.

I agree with these suggestions for a one-off game or two...but for 60 games in a season? Remember, it's got to the stage where we need to win 90% of our matches and draw the rest if we want to compete with City. I just think we need more quality. But I hope you're right.

        Agree.
Gomez is limited as an attacking option so it becomes easier for teams to defend against us, as noted in a few games when taa was missing.
At least hoever will take the ball down the wing and keep the pressure on opposition teams.
Lets hope he can find some consistency, and even better if he can cover both flanks as it will get him more game time rather than just bench time.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I know Hoever played last season, but I don't think that was ever the intention, it came about due to an injury crisis. I don't see him playing anything other than league Cup games unless there is another injury crisis. Although I don't like it I think we could see Gomez cover both full back positions, Milner too, Henderson and Fabinho could slot in at RB and I imagine those options will be explored before Hoever in the league or CL. Maybe that will change later in the season if he has some stand out games in the cups.

I think Klopp will be wary of having too many youngsters or inexperienced players in the squad at once, at the moment we have Brewster and Wilson who look to be ahead in that regard.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Been a straaannnngggeee old few years for Clyne. Imagine being on the outside looking in at one of the greatest 18 months of football performance ever.
              Modifying post.

Yeah I know he had injuries and TAA has come through but his fall has been astonishing

Quite sad really, he never did much wrong on the pitch, seemed a solid full back, not TAA of course but a good player.

I hope he gets premier league football

Very good RB, defensively sound just not great going forward is all & that's what our team is all about if you are a fullback. He will no doubt get a prem club, just needs to stay fit. Best of luck to him.

Great fullback, just not a Klopp player. He wants wingbacks not fullbacks.
