He had a tough assignment with Hazard but came out on top. Mr consistency isn't he.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

      Best RB in the league.

Very underrated as he's not flashy making motd highlights. Absolutely cracking signing.

Yep, I thought he was not much better than average at Southampton but he's been one of our best signings in recent years. Thought he was absolutely fantastic on Friday night. And how the **** Kyle Walker plays for England ahead of him I will never know.

when we were first linked to him i was made up we were getting him and knew he would be a reliable team player, even though he isnt a 'stand out' superstar.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                Isn't it just

Mané, Lallana, Lovren, Clyne....is that it? Amazing. We'll pretend Lambert never happened.

Paul Jones would still get a game ahead of Manniger

it'd be interesting to do a side by side comparison with the players we have bought from them and the players they have bought in to replace them...

                    lovren
                    lallana
                    clyne
                    lambert
                    mane

Haha! I went to Spurs the day Paul Jones kept goal for us. Got beat 2-1. Did he play any other games? Can't remember. One or two games at the most.

I have a very vague memory of him playing at Anfield.

                            Same.

I don't really want a stand out superstar as a full back. That **** gives you nightmares - it does me. There have been a few down the years but give me a solid pragmatic, dull as **** one any day.

It was his games for England before we signed him that showed me he had what it took.

Me too, so I had to google it. He kept a clean sheet at home against Villa. We won 1-0. Then he played at Spurs and that was it.
