No point selling him in January unless we have a replacement. He can fill in either fullback position. it will take any replacement months to get up to speed on Klopps system.
Better to wait until the summer, imho.

In fact I would not sell anyone at the moment. Maybe Moreno if we could get a decent lb replacement, but we would still be better holding on unless we get a decent sized bid for him.
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

i have to wonder if his extended absence from the team really was due to an injury. he cant even get on the bench ahead of moreno yet he could cover both full back positions...
      behind the scenes shenanigans?

Gomez can be moved to the right, Milner can cover the right if needs must, Moreno is more attacking so maybe changes things a bit more, I think it's purely tactical.

Fabinho can also play RB, I doubt we would play him there at the moment given his lack of PL experience, but long term he could be an option too. I think Clyne has more change of getting a game at LB than RB. If Clyne has a future here it could be as back up for Robertson when Moreno moves on.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

When clyne has played LB He has been decent defensively but has offered very little going forward.

Knew his limitations and supported well, defensively solid too.

I am delighted he is back. Prefer him in that position over Gomez. A proper defenders' defender. TAA still first choice for most games when fit though.

Pleasantly surprised at his performance. He was great (considering the lack of recent game time).

I have no idea what's going on with Clyne but it would be a shame to see him leave Anfield (especially to a team like Cardiff!!). We need strength in depth.
                        Another MASSIVE game

Clap, clap, clap what a performance, I like Clyney, not sure what's going on with him but his is well worth having in and around the first 11

Solid display especially with his lack of game time.

Hopefully we can relax that RB is covered until TAA is back fit

I'm surprised he's getting praised, I was expecting him to get some stick today.

It was a good performance from him, but as you'd expect he looked like a player who had been out for 18 months at times.

He'll be a good option for us to have if he can stay fit.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
