On my way home from the match ATM. Great atmosphere but Melbourne was better. Did they say how many were there? Loved Lallana's effort tonight plus Hendo & Milner.

Catch a flight to Adelaide tomorrow for MondY nights match.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I thought the atmosphere was a bit sedate. Was great outside the ground, but inside...possibly because I was sat amongst the Roar fans. Lol.

It was a big crowd though, not often you see Suncorp fuller.

I was up in the Kop in bay 308. A few ppl tried to get the singing started but it fizzed out pretty quick. Yeah the atmosphere in Caxton St was awesome.

I almost regret taking my son, would have been amazing in the pubs around there. But it was a great night out and hopefully I can hook onto it and finally get him into "soccer".

          "Who scored that try dad?"

          No-one scored a try son.

Observations from today, Brisbane another in a long line of teams adopting the common practice of high intensity pressure on our defenders with a high line from the first whistle. Also noticed once we survive this period and bring on someone like Ibe the opposition are truly, truly fecked as they don't have legs to survive an onslaught of Ibe proportions.

Maybe that might be best use of Ibe during the season. To kill off teams that are knackered after 70-75 minutes.

Also, during the early high pressure stuff we can now reliably hoof it up to Benteke who will hold and bring in others to break their high line defence. I'm sure LvG has done the same with Fellaini at times (successfully I might add).

I like the proactive thought processes we're using on how to counter teams that will come at us in certain ways.
              One tit for another.

Maintaining my positive outlook on things, I'm pleased about our various strenghts in the squad, we have our work horses, dribblers, powerhouses, speedsters, etc,.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Yep, and for someone that became disillusioned with Rafa's love of DMs I really enjoyed watching Milner and Hendo hunting players down for the ball to the point I'm sure there were brown stains on some Aussie's shorts. Brisbane Roars are a decent outfit but they didn't pierce our dodgy (yes its still reliably dodgy ) defence too often.

I took my 16 year old lad into a bar a few doors down from the Caxton called the Legends I think it was. I asked & they said fine. Got onto a brew called Little Creatures which I'd never tried before.

We didn't play Lovren though. Or it could have been tested more often.

I took my 6 yr old son with and he loved it.

                        Atmosphere was ok, not great.
The only songs the crowd knew were YNWA and the Toure song.
Gary Mac acknowledged my Gary Mac, Garry Garry Mac song, but no one around me had a clue.
Likewise none of them had ever sung Poor Scouser Tommy or Fields of Anfield Road.
I guess that is to be expected.

The support we have down here is sensational, I am hearing that pre-season training conditions here are perfect and that LFC are likely to return in the near future again.

                          Seriously?! Wow.

You should try Lord Nelson Three Sheets!

I was there and enjoyed the game and atmosphere, however we managed to sneak down onto the fence where all the banners and flags were. There was a brilliant Hendo banner and he came over after the game and signed it. We were four feet away from him. I thought all the new players were trying to impress, so liked their dedication. Gomez looked quick and I don't think we'll miss Sterling with Ibe coming through. The before and after match was brilliant as well.

Where do you drink the THree Sheets? There's not many pubs with it on tap but the three weeds in Rozelle does it.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

Mines only 11, it was a bit much I think in their I'd have ended up losing him. Lol

And yeah, Little Creatures is a decent drop. I don't find it sessionable, its a bit much for me, but a couple at the start is fantastic before switcching to something smoother.
