Thanjk you.

It was a horrible game with a serious lack of quality from both sides. Not sure how we are going to use Benteke. But we won, a massive result and I'm buzzing.
Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom- 2 years1year 0.5 years
Grim fare but we got stronger as time went on and a couple of things started to click. We feel very disjointed at the moment but I hope that will improve with time. Central defence and the keeper are big, big problems. Coutinho with something special to win.
Stoke are a tough side to beat so really pleased we got all three points there, even if we didn't entirely deserve them.
Going by the match thread, you would have thought Stoke had played us off the park. It wasn't a spectacle by any stretch of the imagination, however, it's the first game of the season; match sharpness isn't there and nobody wants to get off to a losing start. It was always going to be won by a moment of brilliance.
The key to changing our fortunes was Can in midfield. Gave us much better balance and allowed Milner and Henderson to push up more to support the attack. Lallana was lost in transition and periphery in position and effect.
Firmino looked to make things happen and he looks like another Coutinho in the box! Good 15 minute cameo.
Definitely players with a vision for going forward. Would be happy to see those three play every game together. Would also like to see Ings get the run against Bournemouth.
3 points!!!
Great goal!!!
Can must start
Happy with our fullbacks
Firmino had a nice cameo, we just need to be patient with him while he transitions.
Still loads of areas for improvement

Yep, it's weird, expectations are ridiculous, anything less than 5-0 with the opponent not having a shot is "****" "terrible" etc but the same people will hail Chelsea winning to nil at Stoke in a pretty drab affair as "thats what the best do" "winning is all that matters" etc.
