Yeah, I'd be surprised to see any changes to last weekend.

A very good friend of my brother, who is also married to my cousin, is heading over to this match.

      A lifelong red, aged 46.

It's probably his last trip over because he's only got a short time left with us due to ****ing cancer.
That rug really tied the room together.

That is so sad, hope we put on a performance for him!

Hope he gets the performance he deserves & the mighty Red men put a smile on his face.

If we score three or more tomorrow and City/Chelsea draw, we'll be top of the league

                      Lets not underestimate Bournemouth though.

I know, hence why I said 'IF'.

We need to win this game if we're going to compete for top four this season. Our run of games after this is horrendous, we desperately need some points. Win and it will give us confidence going into the difficult games, lose and it could get ugly.

Well I hope it is a cracking game and we come away with the three points and he has the time of his life. He'll be in my thoughts watching the game.

We need to win more games than our rivals. We'll lose some on the way, who it's to is irrelevant.

                                MOTD TEAM NEWS

Roberto Firmino is pushing to make his first Liverpool start but Brendan Rodgers is likely to name an unchanged side from the victory at Stoke.

Joe Allen (hamstring) has joined long-term absentees Daniel Sturridge and Jon Flanagan on the treatment table.

Eddie Howe could hand summer signing Tyrone Mings his Bournemouth debut at the expense of Charlie Daniels.

Harry Arter and loanee Christian Atsu are still nursing injuries and are unlikely to feature.

                                MOTD COMMENTATOR'S NOTES

Steve Bower: "This is a game where Bournemouth will realise they have really arrived in the Premier League.

"As their opening-day defeat reminded them, to get any kind of result at Anfield they will have to convert any chances that come their way.

"When speaking to Brendan Rodgers after their win at Stoke, he reiterated how much defensive work they have done during the summer, an area which so often let them down last season.

"They looked stronger at the Britannia and they will be determined not to drop any early season points, particularly with some tricky fixtures on the horizon."

                                LAWRO'S PREDICTION

"Bournemouth are still finding out the difference between the Premier League and the Championship and this is going to be a tough evening for them. Cherries boss Eddie Howe likes everyone to bomb on and get forward and cause problems down the other end but is he going to go to Anfield and play that way? That would be very brave if he does."

                                WHAT THE MANAGERS SAY

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers: "Firmino is building up his fitness really well. He's a guy that helps himself because he trains to the maximum every single day and he's coming along very, very well.

"He's a good guy as well and every aspect of life here in Liverpool, he's thrown himself into - both football and language. He is working very, very hard and he's getting close."

AFC Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe: "Our aim is not to outplay Liverpool, or outpass Liverpool, or any nonsense like that. Our aim is to try and win the game.

"Then how we do that, and how you go about best doing that, that is down to how you see the game, so it's not a competition on passes, it's a competition on winning the game.

"The football really is irrelevant, it's about finding a way to be competitive."

                                MATCH FACTS

                                Head-to-head

This is the first ever league meeting between Liverpool and Bournemouth.

They have met in each of the last two seasons in domestic cup competitions: Liverpool won away in the League Cup in 2014-15 and in the FA Cup the previous season.
Bournemouth's last trip to Anfield was a 4-1 FA Cup defeat in January 1968

                                Liverpool

Liverpool are unbeaten in their opening home match in each of the last 11 Premier League seasons since a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea in 2003/04.

The Reds have lost only one of their last 36 Premier League home matches against promoted teams: the 2-1 defeat against Blackpool in October 2010.

Liverpool's only defeat in their last 10 Monday Premier League home matches came against West Bromwich Albion in February 2013.

Three of Philippe Coutinho's four league goals in 2015 have come from outside the penalty area.

                                AFC Bournemouth

Bournemouth had more shots, more possession (58%) and better passing accuracy in their defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day.

Only Manchester City (693) and Arsenal (481) completed more passes on the opening day of the Premier League season than Bournemouth (464).

Eddie Howe's side had the best away record in the Championship last season, winning eight and losing just five of their matches on the road with a goal difference of +30.

The Cherries are unbeaten in 12 Monday league matches, losing 1-0 at home to Brentford in League Two in April 2009.
