It thought this rule existed for a long time? - a player who's offside messes with the defence or the goalie and the goal doesn't stand?

Aye....but only if they blocked the view or touched the ball.

Now if they make any motion towards the ball in, its called off.

Or not in this case


**** rule.....should just go back to the classic offside. It'd solve a multitude of issues, although the offside traps would be back big time.

Lallana has been fairly anonymous. Good player but really need to do more.
