definitely need to show more going forward alright. That's why I don't get why lucas or can aren't starting, gives Milner and Henderson licence to get forward. Thought the back line looked dodgy first 15 mins but seemed like Clyne playing as right sided midfield, Skrtel had to push across and defense looked really stretched. Personally I think skrtel has got Clyne out of jail a good few times today.

3 genuine first team players to fit into this side imo Sturridge, Bobby F and Can.

For this match, Lallana seems to be in a roaming advance midfield position. Ibe is definitely on the left, and we have Milner drifting to the right at times, though Clyne seems to be the wing back who gets into that spot too. Putting Can on for Lallana would change the formation very slightly. Can would also bring in a better defensive backbone to the middle, something Lallana doesnt do. He can also hold the ball and muscle his way past players and do some delicious runs through midfield. Lallana gets pushed over by the merest of touches. If Rodgers must have Lallana on, put him where Ibe is. I'd rather Firmino on for either of them though.

Him & Firmino came back late & it is right to introduce them slowly IF we can get results without them starting. It's a gamble but it's been working so far.
