Lol Rossiter is untouchable .... till he is not ... i suspect that day will come sooner than some precious people think ... seems to be the darling player .. I am not overly sentimental, but its good to see local talent coming through

I think he looked lost for the most part as he was the only one looking to close down all the time. I think he was told by Rodgers pre game to press and get stuck into Bordeaux, but seems that Rodgers didn't bother to tell the rest.

Pressing is great when all the team work as one and do it together. Otherwise there's no point. I think we've been stuck between the two for sometime now and it's why we look so poor.

So I think it's hard to criticise Jordan on last nights game. In possession he didn't do much wrong.

Looked good in possession, nice simple balls as well as that brilliant one to Ibe which could've brought a pen.

Off the ball he struggled a bit though I felt, position-wise he got caught out a couple of times and both his an Ibe's marking were non-existent from corners, but both of these should come with time.

Too early to write the kid off completely yet, I don't think he'll ever be a regular first teamer, but he could get a couple more appearances here or there. Reminds me of wee Jay when he first came through.

He needs to get at least 20 games under his belt this season.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You watched a different game to me. I thought he did excellent considering.

I thought they got a bit of a lesson in there but an admirable effort from two kids. They gave their best which is all you can ask for really.

two kids in a dysfunctional setup, can't blame them.

Was always going to struggle the way the team was set up.

Thanks for that Mike. He looked good in that & will be better for the experience.

                        Jordan "Rosso" Rossiter
Now, after a lengthy period of rehabilitation, Rossiter is closing in on a return to the training pitches, and he is eyeing up a more sustained comeback this time around.

"I'm doing quite well, it's progressing well at the moment," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"I think I've been out around eight weeks now, but I'm hopefully looking to be running around the next two weeks. It's been frustrating but hopefully there are better things to come soon.

"I picked up a hamstring injury in October which kept me out and I was back fit for two weeks, but to pick up another injury has been frustrating.

"Hopefully it all turns around soon and I get a bit of luck."

No real loss IMO, never looked good enough to me.

Hope he does well though. I was there when he scored on his debut v Boro and it was great.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
