Sterling got pelters up to December in 13-14, people wanted him sold, loaned, shot and then look want happened!

We have no pace up front, I was hoping to see Origi come on for Firmino. We didn't seem to have much of an outlet in the second half, they brought Walcott and Chamberlain on to provide some pace and we didn't. We got a point so I can't complain, but maybe if we'd had some pace up front we might have got all three?

You said you would expect a top striker to score - Aguero is without doubt the best striker in the premiership and has already missed a hat full of similar clear cut chances for city. Benteke forced an exceptional save from Cech (he didn't fluff his shot or put it wide) as such I think you are being harsh on him.Originally posted by Mostar View PostI did but my point is still the same.
He should have scored.

The most stressful game I can remember in a while - first half for missing all those chances and second half under the cosh. Pretty much everyone bar Ibe and Rossiter played well.
It's a good start. Three clean sheets, and two horrible aways out of the way, conceding 0 goals in those two away games....having conceded 10 (ten) in the corresponding two fixtures last season.
So far so good Brendan, although there's still loads of room for improvement, especially going forward. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We will get better I'm sure. Gomez, Clyne and Benteke have improved us. Milner is a good signing too. I'm still not sure about Firmino, he hasn't played enough yet. Obviously I hope he'll develop into a Suarez-esque player. He was back defending a bit too much tonight, but he was probably instructed to do that.

We need to get three points against West Ham. The next few weeks are going to be very challenging and I don't think that Rodgers has much support from us. If things go wrong he's gone. He's not likeable and he isn't some genius manager, he's just about keeping his job at the moment. Things can and will turn very quickly if results go against him during the next month or two.

So ****ing dramatic. If we lose a couple of games, as long as they're not Stoke style capitulations, he's not going to lose his job.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostWe need to get three points against West Ham. Our backroom team is improved, our squad is improved, our team is improved, **** me even Lovren is improved.
I like Rodgers, he's not statesman like but some people don't like bravado, if he was managing in the US they'd ****ing love him. I like those kind of characters. Was muß, das muß.
