not just the results though, it is the performances with each game there is no sign of any of the players knowing what to do when they get onto the pitch.

I agree that it's the performances that are the problem, but ultimately it will be the results that get him the sack. (If we play ****e but get results the performance matters less)

We weren't really that bad today but the problem is that with Rodgers we'll Al ways have a soft centre. Take away the goals and there wasn't much between the two teams. It's always the case.

We could be good on the day but it's also wholly possible to lose 4-0 to a team like Newcastle. That's not Liverpool standard. That's a mid table manager.

We had a decent period between their first and second goals but that was it really, we created a couple of chances and scored a goal out of nothing. But we were defensively shambolic and in truth we were lucky not to be a couple down at half time, the reason it was 0-0 at HT was that Man Utd were equally bad. We were better than against West Ham but that's not saying much. We still looked devoid of any effective system, the game bypassed so many of our players.

To compound this after failing to sign the right players he then plays players out of position to try and keep his system intact

If he wanted to play 433 he could use Ibe and Moreno though for seom pace and width, but he seems to totally lost.

They are probably the best options for wide areas but if you look at our players in terms of quality they are a fair way down the list, we continually try to play play these players we consider better out of position. We should have bought proper wide players in the summer rather than another in the hole type player
