I agree that it's the performances that are the problem, but ultimately it will be the results that get him the sack. (If we play ****e but get results the performance matters less)The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Hahaha ffs I've been a critic of Rodgers but the reaction here is so over the top.
We weren't really that bad today but the problem is that with Rodgers we'll Al ways have a soft centre. Take away the goals and there wasn't much between the two teams. It's always the case.
We could be good on the day but it's also wholly possible to lose 4-0 to a team like Newcastle. That's not Liverpool standard. That's a mid table manager.

Fully agreed and we didn't get the result, hence Rodgers is getting both barrellsOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostIt's a results business though. If we played ****e and won we've got ourselves a debate. Play ****e and lose - your just ****e.
I wish we had Utds problems now that's for sure.
Forwards.......

We had a decent period between their first and second goals but that was it really, we created a couple of chances and scored a goal out of nothing. But we were defensively shambolic and in truth we were lucky not to be a couple down at half time, the reason it was 0-0 at HT was that Man Utd were equally bad. We were better than against West Ham but that's not saying much. We still looked devoid of any effective system, the game bypassed so many of our players.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostHahaha ffs I've been a critic of Rodgers but the reaction here is so over the top.

We had to be right at least once in our livesOriginally posted by foresterbloke View PostThat has shown that Matt shark, Lecter etc are right. I have 0% faith in Rodgers now.
Serious note for me I have not had faith because his insistence on reverting to his 4-3-3 system and then constantly signing players that don't suit that system. He might have had the committee as an excuse previously but not this season
To compound this after failing to sign the right players he then plays players out of position to try and keep his system intact
Then there is Lovren playing that's another level of stupidityBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

If he wanted to play 433 he could use Ibe and Moreno though for seom pace and width, but he seems to totally lost.Originally posted by Lecter View PostWe had to be right at least once in our lives

They are probably the best options for wide areas but if you look at our players in terms of quality they are a fair way down the list, we continually try to play play these players we consider better out of position. We should have bought proper wide players in the summer rather than another in the hole type playerOriginally posted by The_weatherman View PostIf he wanted to play 433 he could use Ibe and Moreno though for seom pace and width, but he seems to totally lost. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Dave Usher has basically said the exact thing on TLW podcast. Worth a listen next time you're over there Lec.Originally posted by Lecter View PostWe had to be right at least once in our lives
