Where were the problems last year then?

It's all gossip and media witchunting.

He's out of from, and Rafa's had a shocker recently too, especially transfers.

They are both having a poor season - by their high standards - so obviously a disagreement between them is the cause of all our problems.

    My arse.

I'm fed up having this debate to be honest. We know absolutely nothing about their relationship. So lets not invent stuff from nowhere.

One thing I do know is that neither Stevie or Rafa is happy with their performance right now. And that Stevie the LFC diehard, and captain, and Rafa the perfectionist will be working as hard as possible together and with the rest of the team to turn around our away league form.

I haven't seen Xabi control a game all season. Xabi is a one dimensional midfielder. Can't run or tackle put has great vision and passes the ball well but this in my opinion is useless without a player of Gerrards calibre alongside him. Gerrard is almost the complete footballer and still short of his prime. The team needs him and no amount of money will replace the passion he bring to the team. It's obvious he has problems this year and his form is shocking but answer me this where are the other 10 players on the pitch to take up the slack. Are we so over reliant on Gerrard that we cannot play without him?

I have to say that is rubbish. Xabi is a quality player, one that may become a world class player in a number of years. He doesn't seem to have any problems in the Spanish midfield with Stevie beside him, and he has played very well in our midfield without having Stevie beside him at all times.

I think this thread is getting a bit silly now, the Stevie fans are feeling like they have to defend their man, and slate Xabi, and those who rate Xabi are knocking Stevie.

FFS we support the same team, the same team both players are in, neither player is having a good season by the standards they have set for themselves. Maybe we should focus on Wednesday night for now, and all get back to supporting, rather than knocking.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
