    Bordeaux post match

So putting aside all the pre match BS, we got an away point in europe, which is always good. The two kids in central midfield did alright imo, as did Moreno, Gomez and Sakho. Ibe, i have to say am a bit worried about if he can make it as a winger, he's just so one dimentional, and can be easily read by any decent defender.

    onwards and upwards eh?

So what formation did we play? 451?

Was Gomez central or at RB & was Moreno LB
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

3 at the back..gomez started at RCB and then moved to CB when Kolo went off and Can moved to RCB. Moreno played left wing

        Nope, we played 3-2-3-1-1.
        Are we winning?

          **** formation + **** tactics + **** manager = **** game

No signs of any improvement or learning from previous debacles. Like our passing, we continue to move sideways instead of forward.

I thought the midfield 6 looked solid.

Did you expect a transformation in one game, with 6 players coming in and a handful of youngsters?

Sakho was excellent despite having had no game time.
I'd love to see his stats for this game.He and Gomez should be our first choice pairing.

Rodgers is still a fraud cunt.

I thought it was a good game for the young lads rossiter, Gomes, chrivella, ibe and origi.

We lacked a bit of intent, there were too many times where we played safe and didn't go for it but at least we didn't lose.

Coutinho, sakho and Moreno all did well. The rest didn't.

We got away with that, they managed to find the keeper with most of their crosses and didn't have anyone who could strike a ball. If they did we'd have got dicked. But yes, we got a point on the board and we can't be this bad forever.

Yeah Sakho and Gomez were excellent. Gomez should remain in the centre.

I've never really understood the vitriol against Rodgers. Quite liked him as a bloke. But this brand of football is ****ing awful. Devoid of quality, passion, or adventure.

I never want to see Liverpool play 3 at the back again unless it's cos we're playing 4 up front.

Has he run out of ideas or is this the idea?

I don't expect a complete transformation in the space of a couple of days. I do expect to see signs of improvements and recognition that the coach and players are learning from mistakes and poor performances. That does not appear to be happening.

37 years supporting this team and these performances are up there with the worst of them.

You are kind of answering your own question here.

The person who comes worst out of this game is the manager rather than any player though Ibe runs him close! It was a convoluted starting formation for no good reason. Playing that as a 4-4-2 was bleeding obvious so why won't he?
