Both brilliant. Should be our pairing going forward but won't cos the gaffer's a tool.

In isolation, it was an okay game for a bunch of players put together, with a blend of youngsters to add too. A point in an away game in Europe isn't bad, so I can't complain about that.

It's just a shrug from me, and the focus is on the winnable games coming up in Norwich and Aston Villa at Anfield.

As in real life, when you hit a bit of a rough patch, things don't get better overnight. If we replace him then so be it. In the meantime, I think we need to take each match as it comes and not expect the world.
        Are we winning?

It was a better performance than Man Utd or West Ham but that isn't saying much. I didn't like the idea of 3 at the back, but if Clyne doesn't play we don't have a RB. Ibe really isn't a wingback he barely went back with his man all night and spent alot of time watching the ball when out of possession - but he isn't a wingback so what do you expect when you play people out of position. The team tonight was a square pegs in round holes. I thought the kids did ok Rossiter and Chirivella were ok in midfield their in experience showed a couple of times. I would have liked to have had a more experienced player in there to 'babysit' and offer advice and guidence to them though.

Oddly I thought that Sakho and Gomez had decent games but I still didn't have confidence in the defence and I don't think Mignolet did either as he flapped at alot of stuff tonight and we looked shakey at times - this was probably down to the system. Lallana scored a great goal and showed what he was capable of but he needs to do that alot more, the goal aside I didn't think played that well, hopefully that will give him confidence and we can see his performances inprove.

The result was decent but the quality was poor, Bordeaux aren't a great side, and I think that a performance like that against a better side would have been problematic, that said it was better than we have been playing recently, so I guess it is a step in the right direction. But I am not sure it helped anything in terms of figuring out a formation or style of play.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm beginning to think we can be this bad forever under Rodgers.

Is he ever going to try playing two strikers together again?
I felt sorry for Origi as he was so isolated. Benteke was probably watching it with a wry smile on his face

I never want to see Liverpool play 3 at the back again unless it's cos we're playing 4 up front.

Has he run out of ideas or is this the idea?
He's a fraud. He's got no idea what he's doing, no ability to adapt and no backup plans. He spews torrents of verbal diahorrea whenever there's a microphone nearby & is more interested in bagging some young bird than three points from a game.

**** performance, good result. Average age of the side was about 21 and got lower with the subs. No discernible style of play again but we'll take the draw.

Sakho. How anyone can watch him play and conclude he's not our best centre half is....well, it's ****ing crackers.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

So has Brendan reverted back to the 3 at the back? If so, what was the point in signing Clyne? Has this been another summer of signing players not suited to any ****ing formation this clown spews out?

Agreed mate... but how long a rough patch must one endure before more drastic measures are taken. This stretches back to the start of last season and whatever corrective actions have been implemented thus far have not yielded any improvement.

I've given up on Rodgers. As far as I'm concerned the sooner he's gone the better. I'll never stop supporting the team and never want them to lose just to speed up the inevitable. If he turns it around I'll gladly admit I was wrong.

Re:sakho that's the point for me. He's so clearly our best CB yet we shoot ourselves in the foot playing the other two. Also, Moreno should be starting as he's a left back!!!!

                          I was wondering that.

How does he maintain credibility with his players in training with these constant formation changes I have no idea. It wasn't like there was a threat to be nullified, the formation change basically just highlights the fact that the preferred formation isn't working... Again... And given all the signings were geared towards a different formation we will see guys like Firminho and Ings struggling to find a place in the team.

I'll be fascinated to see how we line up on Sunday.

We can't play with a striker so isolated whoever it is.

Today we didn't have anyone looking to run in behind and that has been the problem all season. It's up to the players who are playing behind the striker to make those runs. As I've said before if Coutinho is going to play a number 10 role he needs to get closer to the striker and run beyond him. He seems to want to stay behind the striker and play through balls, if he wants to do that we need to play him in a deeper role.

When we sold Sterling, we replaced him with Firminho, who's a completely different player. Also, Sterling had so much pace that teams had to sit back and allowed us to play a bit further up the pitch. Without him, we've become one dimensional. Ibe doesn't have as much pace as Sterling. Firminho and Benteke don't have blinding pace either. So, here's our problem.
                                Are we winning?
