Yes, he can rest them in mid May......footballers have it far too easy nowadays

I think JK will play a strong team. I hope he does as well.... we need to build momentum now..... a good win, and a few goals, will do nicely to get us ready for the Southampton game.

I would like to see the same defense. Allen in for Lucas / Milner, Ibe for Lallana and Sturridge in for Origi.

You know what - its a feckin pity we let Markovic leave on loan....

Markovic would fit like a glove

I agree though, would like to see Allen for Lucas and Ibe for Lallana/Coutinho but I'd keep Sturridge on the bench and give him 30 mins. We need to get Origi going as well.
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Pity this is probably considered a must win.

Mig, Clyne, Toure. Sakho, Moreno, Allen, Lucas, Chirivella‎, Can, Ibe, Origi,

Boggers, Skrtel, Randall, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana, Sinclair

It is a crap schedule for him to come in for - two very hard running PL teams sandwiching a European game we need to win.

I think I'd try to play the same team to get players working together but fitness has to be a worry. I'd stick with Origi to start over Sturridge as a precaution, use the latter as a sub if needed. It will also do good to get Origi some games as we are going to need him given the lack of other cover up front.

Not helped by all the injuries, with something close to a full squad we could have made a decent number of changes and still put out a strong side. As things stand we can probably make a maximum of 3 changes and we'll have a fair number of youngsters on the bench.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Makes sense & a goal would be good for his confidence. Here's hoping.

I'd stick with Origi .. certain aspects of his game are quite good ... he needs game time ... the will be a better time than now to justify giving him it ...

Mignolet, Skirtle, Firmino, Sturridge, Moreno, Sincliar, Milner

I like the look of that side. Lallana & Can off after 60 or so mins for Firmino & Milner.

Yep spot on .... I suspect Enrique wont play ... I hope he does ... we are really spread very very thin at the moment not much opportunity to rotate ... but hey they all need game time now, I am looking forward to this game ... first game in charge at Anfield .. European home tie Jurgen Klopp ... Get the **** in

to be honest, i think Enrique is a flake. I think he is a bad professional. He obviously knows he isn't going to get another 70k per week contract either at LFC or anywhere else so he is doing a Winston Bogarde on it and sitting it out and taking the cash. That is his prerogative but for me, i would prefer to play a young player rather than give him the opportunity to put himself in the shop window.

I think what will happen with him anyway is that he won't get another club at the end of the season and it will be around this time next year when a manager like Allardyce / Pulis / Pardew takes him on a free and gets a little bit of a song out of him.

As I said, i would rather play a young player there.

Fair enough ... but who ? also do people actually know people inside the club who are basically saying Enrique is a ****ehouse or is it just the fact he has been injured and on facebook too much .. when he was fit he was a decent player
