Zoltan would be a great signing for us. He actually works his bollocks off, and has a eye for goal. He wouldnt cost much either. We were interested at one stage.....hopefully we go back in for him

Wilhelmsson is flashy, but i think he would get kicked all over the place in the Prem.

They are all miles ahead of us in the league despite "Our two most prolific strikers having as many goals in the league as Chelsea's front two" .

Man United with a **** midfield still score shedloads, why? Because they have top quality striking options... Rooney may not score many but we have noone as good as him playing up front for Liverpool.
But that's not a relevant point. The problems at Liverpool with our matchday performance are not because our strikers can't score. Chelsea won their first title under Mourinho without a single prolific striker in their squad because their whole team weighs in with the goals, specifically in that season, Frank Lampard.

It's not like we haven't been ambitious in the transfer market. We bought Diouf, Heskey, Collymore, Kuyt, Kewell, Bellamy, Pennant were all bought for large sums of cash or were big big names at the time, ok some of them didn't work out, but the fact is that we don't have the financing to compete with Chelsea or Manchester United. With that in mind, I think we've been very ambitious in the transfer market, despite your unargued point.

Manchester United don't score shedloads. They've scored four goals more than us in the league this year. You can account for that many goals purely on Gerrard's loss of form. He had more than four goals by this stage last season. Our problems on the pitch are not the fact that our personnel is lacking, more that the team is not gelling. So many of our players are out of sorts that it's not suprising that we are where we are in the league. Alonso is getting his form together, but Gerrard, Reina, Hyppia and Carra have been shadows of their former selves so far.

The point is, real football is not Championship Manager. We can't magic money up out of no-where. We spent more money than all of the other teams in the Premier League with the exception of Chelsea and Manchester United in preseason. Portsmouth have spent **** all and they are in third. How does your big spending apply to that? Are Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis, Benjani, Kanu, star players? Are they expensive? No, of course not. They are doing well because they are an organised team with players on form. It's nothing to do with how much money you spend. Real Madrid were ****e a couple of years ago, even though they had players like Beckham, Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, players that cost ridiculous sums of money and were considered World Class.

If you mean this season, United have got 29 in the league, we've got 14.

Oops, my bad, I read the wrong column on the table. Fact is though, Rashid's point still holds no water. Most of the teams above us have a combined strike rate between their strikers which is no better than ours.

Now I'm guessing that a lot of you won't have seen too much of him so if you havn't, please spare me a bull**** negative response.

The fact is, he's quick, 2 footed, great at taking on players, young, decent crosser and has an eye for a goal or 2.

He looks to drive at the defense at every oppertunity. He's only young and can only improve on his already obvious talents.

He's already proven he can perform at the top level.

Highly doubt he's cost much from Celtic.
He's just banged one in for Celtic vs Hibs, cutting in from the left.
