Can anyone tell me the value of Andre Wisdom being out on loan? He looked a decent enough prospect initially. Now he's just being coached by a different manager. Ryan Kent & Harry Wilson may be getting game time, but they would be better off training with players of higher standard.

Can anyone tell me the last player we loaned out who returned and became a first team regular?
I think that the loan system is useful but obviously only up to the point where the players are getting more out of it than they would be getting at Anfield. This obviously depends on where they are in their development and how close to the first team they are: Someone who is not going to be close to the first team that season such as Kent ot Wilson are probably better off out on loan - if they are going to get regular games they will learn probably get more football and learn more about the game than they would playing the relatively few U21 games they would get for us.

The case of Wisdom, sitting on the bench at Norwich is fairly pointless he may as well be sat on the bench for us - he would probably be getting a similar amount of game time as Clyne's back up in the cups and EL as he is getting there, but he would have more of an idea of what is required of him if he is to have a future with us, than he will when he gets back here at the end of the season. He has essentially reached the point where he isn't going to develop any further in the youth teams and has worked his way through the lower leagues. It is IMO, at this point that thinks seem to go wrong with our loans and player developments. In Wisdom's case the last couple of seasons things haven't really worked out for him. IMO what we should have done was give him this season at Anfield and given him regular cup games in his prefered position and said prove yourself capable of challenging for a first team place. We seem to expect that after having loaned a player out for a couple of years he will have gained experience and should be able to come back in and claim a place, if he can't we move him on. But the player has been away from the club for so long he doesn't really know how to adapt what he has learned to what is expected of him. It feels to me like we don't know what to do at the stage and with Wisdom (an a number of others previously) it feels a bit like he is being loaned out with a view to being moved on without ever really having a chance.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He is having a nice cup of tea and a couple of choccy digestives.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The thing I like about Klopp is that there's no bull **** with him & he doesn't make any excuses. Everything is what it is & it's just football at the end of the day.

Seem to get the impression from him that he really takes all the press conferences/interviews as something silly that is just part and parcel of what he is really here to go, which is win football matches.

I'd have Coutinho on the bench personally

That's gold. I could imagine Rodgers sending him off on 2 laps on his own as a disciplinary measure

Me too but for how long if his bad form continues? Lallana has been a revelation since Jurgen took over & Firmino was class midweek. Can't keep carrying Couts on previous magic.
