    [CC] Southampton (A): Build Up

Edit: Weds 2nd Dec; 19:45; Sky Sports 1

I'm buzzing after that Swansea game and our injured players returning.

This game is at St Mary's and Sky Sports are covering it. The team I would like to see but won't happen:

    Bogdan
    Clyne Skrtel Lovren Moreno
    Lucas Allen
    Lallana Coutinho Texeira
    Benteke

Bringing on Sturridge and Henderson for Coutinho and Benteke. Not sure Klopp will go without Can and/or Milner yet.

Tough game, be a close one. Great one for Sturridge, Hendo & Ibe to get more game time.

Klopp"Coutinho had a very intensive session yesterday, but we decided 2 or 3 days ago that we didn’t want to risk him for this game."Now I think Coutinho’s fit. I saw him in the dressing room and he looks good. I think he’s ready for Southampton."

Cool, thanks Bender. Would really like to see how Texeira and Coutinho link up. I'm sure they can do the same as Couts/Firmy.

Be amazedballs if Sturridge started this, hopefully give him 30 minutes. Hendo likewise 45 mins for him. Can/Allen/Lucas in the engine room with Coutinho/Firmino/Benteke

I think Moreno and Clyne need a rest tbh, they cover some ground during a game.

Who else have we got though? Enrique? What about the right? I agree they could probably do with a rest.

Clyne and Moreno are my worries too. Can't really risk Randall in this game, Tadic or Mane will eat him for breakfast. (Could do with Wisdom back, apparently Utd/Arsenal fans were really impressed with him against Arsenal on the weekend.) Clyne and Moreno will definitely be rested for the next EL game but not before unfortunately.

Brad Smith was resigned only recently so it must mean Klopp rates him somewhat. Highly doubt he'd come in for Moreno here; more likely Clyne is shifted to the left with Randall on the right.

I'm glad we're playing away. It's nice to hear more cheering for the team.

I suppose he could go three at the back and play Milner and Ibe as wing backs......just saying!

19th December according to PhysioRoom, I imagine that's his return to training date thereabouts so we probably won't see him until January.

With just two games from Wembley we've got to play our strongest team here surely.

No resting players, if Hendo & Sturridge aren't 100% leave them out.

Give them a run vs Newcastle
