I'd keep Firmino on as he has a good head on him for tight spots and I think he'd link up well with Sturridge.

Really poor half from us. Its probably the poorest I've seen benteke play for us. Firmino looking completely lost in the game.

Really disappointing half but at 0-0 we need to kick on now.

Firmino and Benteke don't really work together at all, neither have done anything and either couldn't complain if subbed at HT.

This is why I worry about us vs the smaller teams, we still struggle to unlock a deep defence, only Ibe has looked likely so far.

The team even on paper looks like it lacks creativity.

Yeah, Benteke and Firmino haven't convinced together, and the former looks better coming off the bench.

Benteke has been a disgrace, disgustingly lazy. Needs to wake up or he has no chance of making it here under this manager. Cant help but feel if Sturridge had started this the game would be over now, instead we've dug ourselves a hole and they are gaining more and more confidence. Firmino always looks **** with him too.

Not a fan of the team selection. Lallana has been great away, it's at home where he's ****. Obviously missing Can hugely too.

Skrtel ****ting himself when the mighty Papiss Cisse was running at him was embarrassing. Thankfully Lovren bailed him out there.

Benteke is like a ****ing dressage horse out there, tip toeing around half heartedly, like it's a training spin or something . Offered absolutely nothing and Firminho is another going through the motions too. We're not scoring against this rabble unless we switch it up considerably.

Clyne, Lovren and Ibe are the only ones who can take any credit from that half. The rest of them have been terrible.

I'm just not a Big Chris fan - he scores some nice goals but I'm personally not a fan of his style of centreforwardmanship. it wouldn't feel so bad if he'd cost around £18-20m but £32m... what were we thinking?

Pretty boring 1st half with no real chances as yet.

I'd like to see Sturridge on for Benteke but he probably won't do that till 60 mins or so. Lallana will come on for Firmino I'd imagine too.

It's a very winnable match - because they look ****e. We look like we thought we just needed to rock up bang in 5 goals and then **** off home with our 3 points.

We just need a couple of changes and to up the tempo/quality a few notches.
