Look at Watford, Leicester and Palace. All have reasonably physically strong and quick players as well as moving the ball quickly

Exactly. Why can't Can and Lallana pass 10 yards with the correct amount of pace. Why do they knock the ball too far forward when running with it? It's not the surface, Watford's technical players were OK with it.

These two in particular have a great chance to impress but they're doing the extreme opposite. As far opposite as you could take it. And not just this game.

I'd be gutted if we sold Coutinho, but couldn't care less about any of the rest. I'm sure we could upgrade on every other player in the squad. We should have got rid of Rodgers sooner and then we might have kept Sterling.

The problem with Henderson for me is that he's a 5/10 man, occasionally making 6/10 for effort, but he's in a role where he should regularly be making 7 or 8/10. Basically, he's fairly average.

I dodn't think he did (have a bad game). I thought he was consistently our best player. Some of the others were putting effort in and OK but still conceding possesion too often (can mor so in the first half than second) but Henderson was solid throughout the whole game.
