To be honest I'm not a big fan of surrounding the referee (and the ability to do has been somewhat restricted in recent years) but we do need to get someone in the referee's ear constantly, because like it or not that is part of the game now and everyone else does it, and if we don't we are putting ourselves at a disadvantage. I am somewhat disappointed that we seem to accept so many of the decisions given against us with little comment or reaction. Take the first goal Bogdan and the players near him should be straight up complaining that the ball was kicked out of his hands, whether they believe that or not they should back him up, ok so he probably still gives the goal but if you can create enough doubt in his mind he might look to even it up later.

The problem is that we have no leaders or talkers on the pitch who will kick up a fuss, hopefully this will improve now that Henderson is back, but Milner seems to play the game in silence which is not what we needed from a captain. The lack of fight and desire again I think comes from a lack of leadership, you need someone to rally the call and get people going, not all the players in previous teams would be the ones to start things but if you have enough people who will you get the others going too. Previously people like Gerrard, Carragher, Suarez and Mascherano have been 'rabble rousers' at the moment I don't think we have any.

Just watching MOTD2 and its all so ****ing casual by our players ****ing half assing it all over the ****ing park ...

comes from a lack of leadership/discipline in the club....could say after Rafa left

I like Hendo but I just don't know if he's captain material... he's too nice. We need a few cunts on our team. No strong characters or leaders, hasn't been for years.

Games I watch we seem to moan with the ref just as much as most teams. I don't think that's our issue tbh.

I believe we miss a player in midfield who can put his foot on the ball under pressure & when off the ball get properly stuck in and win the battle. We're not signing anyone as good as Viera or Keane anytime soon, but that's the played we need.

Like most teams in the league though, you stick a top striker up top and you look a different team. If Sturridge stayed fit for us I've no doubts we'd be top 4 right now. I could point the finger all over the place, but if we had a bit of magic in front of goal we look a top team.

Lovern gets ****ing done like a ****ing kipper and not one of them complains let alone tries to take the head of that dozy ****
Its been discussed at length by rarefied air of match going fans on pods like the Anfield Wrap or the Redmen and they all agree our players are silent...its way too easy to give bad decisions against us at Anfield
