Apparently they don't have enough fit players to go 5 at the back, so it will be 442 with 4 CBs and two of them will be Wes Brown and Coates. I'd be happy with anykind of win but really they are there for the taking

Teams there for the taking are exactly the ones we struggle against.
I would love a smashing but unfortunately we have been burnt too many times in these situations.

Yeah but I think we have to use different tactics for different situations ... we need to win ugly ... if they sit back .. I say lets see who wins the 2nd ball .. rather than trying to play through them ... We just have to win, nothing else will do, and we will.

It'll be a bit windy I'd say but if the ball is kept on the floor that won;t be an issue.

You watch Coates score another QPR goal against us.

Its the obvious things that people miss - cue an evening of trying to land a looping cross onto Benteke's bonce!

I think we will be the better team & will create more chances. But the finishing has been poor at times & they only need a lucky set piece and we could be looking at a negative result.

I need to see our team start to put away chances before I accept that we are going to easily roll teams over. We have a negative goal difference after 18 games and that says it all really. Yet a couple of wins in our next two and people will talk about the title again!

Yep, as soon as we smell blood - they smell blood. Any sort of win will do.

It's fat Sam - he loves trying to beat us, so they will be motivated. It's likely to be a greasy pitch, blustery conditions, which will bring the quality down a bit. But we should (should) be far to good for them. We will need to fight though, if we play like we did at Watford or geordieland then we will have some problems.

Time for big Chris to put a shift in and not just float around 'up top'. If the big fella proved he could work hard, then he might start to win over some of the doubters.

Sunderland are genuinely **** and Fat Sam whilst I do think he is criminally under estimated by a lot of people he is no managerial wizard ... the truth of the matter is this Sunderland team have real problems .. Whilst Newcastle, Cystal Palace and Watford are capable of beating any team in the Lg if they get the run of the green and play to their max, this Sunderland team would take a miracle, they are really missing John O'Shea ... says it all because he is utter garbage these days .....Which ever way you dice it, even if they wax a jammy Goal we are better then them in every single position .. we have a better manager .. better strikers better captain etc etc ... and Lovren and Sakho will be our new Hypia and Carra just watch ... Lovren & Sakho in the mood have the potential to be the best pairing in the lg ...

Will the players be up for it like they were against Leicester? If so we'll create loads of chances. Then comes the question if we can put away chances. Lots going for us (namely **** oppos), but lots going against us (namely our own attitude and/or profligacy).

                            A must win game nevertheless.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
