Been a waste of time signing this lad really. Bizarre.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostKlopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I'd forgotten about him to be honest, getting him some PL experience would be good. I guess we need to see if he is capable of playing in this league so it makes sense IMO. It'll be interesting to see where he goes though. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Should we not have thought about that before buying him?Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI'd forgotten about him to be honest, getting him some PL experience would be good. We probably should, but that doesn't usually influence our recruitment proceduresOriginally posted by Bloodraven View PostShould we not have thought about that before buying him?

he was a highly desirable player when we got him. pissing about in the reserves doesnt battle harden these young lads, get them boys sent out to get them dirty and blooded elsewhere then bring them home as men.
Throughout autumn, Grujić was scouted by a number of high-profile European teams, including Liverpool, Internazionale, Juventus, Chelsea, and Milan. Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp called Grujić personally to convince him to switch to Anfield, but initially Grujić's father was against his son moving to Liverpool.[7] Klopp's assistant, Željko Buvač, flew to Belgrade to speak with Grujić and on 6 January 2016, it was confirmed that Grujić completed his move to Premier League side Liverpool, signing a five-year deal for a reported fee of £5.1 million.[8][9] Upon joining, Grujić hailed Klopp for convincing him to join and told the press, "I would choose Liverpool over Real Madrid and Barcelona."[10]
He was immediately loaned back to Red Star until the end of the season for a fee of £740,000, and won the SuperLiga with Red Star while on loan. Grujić finished the season with 29 appearances, 6 goals, 7 assists and was voted into the SuperLiga Team of the Year for his contribution to Red Star's unbeaten season.
On 20 August 2016, Grujić made his Premier League debut for Liverpool in a 2–0 loss against Burnley, coming on in the place of Adam Lallana in the 78th minute.[11]removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I've said it before, he has talent and looks a good player, but I'm just not sure where he'd fit in a Klopp midfield.
Be very interested to see how he gets on if he got a loan move.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

hopefully he will get some proper playing time and experience, blow out the cobwebs etc, then we could see grujic sitting deeper, allowing goretzka and keita to raid further forward.Originally posted by RedReet View PostI've said it before, he has talent and looks a good player, but I'm just not sure where he'd fit in a Klopp midfield.

I don't think he'd be suitable as a DM, but if he was able to develop in that position, having someone his size play there for us would be a huge bonus.Originally posted by baitman View Posthopefully he will get some proper playing time and experience, blow out the cobwebs etc, then we could see grujic sitting deeper, allowing goretzka and keita to raid further forward. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I know it was only vs United U23 but he was superb as the DM in that game, video might be on the youth team thread.Originally posted by RedReet View PostI don't think he'd be suitable as a DM, but if he was able to develop in that position, having someone his size play there for us would be a huge bonus.

I actually watched that game although I wasn't paying much attention so only really looked up when we scored. I kept meaning to watch his highlight reel on LFC Go when I heard the rave reviews he got.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostI know it was only vs United U23 but he was superb as the DM in that game, video might be on the youth team thread. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
