Wish we’d just sell him. He’s never gonna make the grade.

Yes, the fashion now is to buy, discover they are not going to make the grade, and then loan them out until the contract ends. Presumably this is because of the wages we pay. And if we structured the wage packet more around their continued development, they wouldn't sign for us in the first place. But maybe that is actually no bad thing; who wants a player that does not have enough confidence in his ability to develop to place a bet via their remuneration package?Originally posted by Gray View PostWish we’d just sell him. He did not, he allegedly liked a post.Originally posted by Angryred View PostGrujic had called Shaqiri not a good person on twitter which I'm sure staff at Liverpool would have been informed about so is this a tense scenario to avoid in the dressing room?
In any case, Grujic won't be around next season anyway.

Not sure what you're on about. That article doesn't back up your post. Not much to see here IMO.Originally posted by Angryred View Post

I've heard about a contract issue a couple of times from Colin, but actually is the issue? Something to do with wages or a requirement for them to play him in so many games or what?
For me he is another who needs games, if he stays here he might play in cup games of make the bench if we have a few injuries in midfield but that's probably it. A loan deal to a PL club makes sense to me.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I read the problem last season was that they had to stop playing him because they'd have to pay more after a certain number of performances - which is a ridiculously stupid clause, if you want a player to get more games. It's why I don't believe it's true.
But if we keep him here now and don't give him any games then we can safely say the club's ****ed him and his development.
