I don't think it's inevitable he won't get his chance at Liverpool. Sure, the new contract protects his value but if he does well, one of Lallana or Milner will probably be moved on next year. Likely the former and then there is a position for Grujic to fill.

When he's played, he's generally played decent but that's pretty much only been in friendlies.

Klopp definitely seems to like him as a player and there is no way Grujic and his agent are that stupid that they would sign a new contract (making it harder for them to get a move away) if they didn't think there was a chance he would come back and play.

Regarding Grujic, I think there is a player in there somewhere. I would have preferred had he joined a premier league team to be honest but he is still very young. I think Klopp must see something in the lad and he still has plenty of time to develop into a top player.

I could see him ending up in Serie A and being a top talent there.
