Thanjk you.

If Spurs continue their current points rate which is a very average 1.77 per game they'll end up on 67 points. To top that we'd need 37 points from 16 games which is title winning form!! And we cant score goals, we've got absolutely no hope, even if we got Suarez back that would still be ridiculously difficult to do.
The guy scored 15 goals last season, and plenty more before that.
Whilst he doesn't fit the system, he's all we have and whilst this is true should we not try and make more use of his talent? One things for sure, the current system isn't working.

A really frustrating watch in the end was that game.
Positives to take from it were Sakho and Toure. Sakho especially who I felt was imperious. Some excellently timed challenges, was there at the right time in the right place to nullify any threat and he deserves a lot of credit. Kolo did a great job too, sadly he won't be physically able to do this every week as a first choice.
Bobby F frustrated at times, he should have been right up on that Borthwick-Jackson after he came on as that lad looked like he was going to poo himself. Firminho would have rinsed him given a clear run.
There were too many blasting shots from outside the box too, especially from Hendo. He needs to learn how to hit the ball properly if he's intent on a screamer. There's a balance between power, pace and precision.
Lallana also frustrates as he just ends up blind alleys, tries a Cruyff turn and screws it up. Desperately need Pip back - and back to his best.
Benteke appears to be shot, completely shot. He's not helped himself by consistently doing brilliant impressions of a statue in most games and this surely lowered his stock with Klopp. If he's not willing to play in this type of formation, then he's got to go. We need a Sturridge figure - ideally the actual Sturridge up top.
Echoing everyone else's thoughts really, we need surgery, but we knew this. There are some pieces of the puzzle here, but sadly those who arrived with a rep and promise have failed us. I do wonder if confidence is a big thing. When Klopp arrived, the players had it, now they've lost it again. Do what we can in the league now and win the Capital One cup, that's a boost, but I'd focus on that Europa League. Win it, sneak in the CL backdoor and give the incoming players who Klopp has surely earmarked a boost coming in. Evolution and Revolution will have to happen all at once
This match is why I hate English football. The biggest game in the league and no passion on the pitch and very little off it. I knew straight away when we didn't press them it would be one of those days. Utd are absolutely ****ing woeful yet as a football team primed to get results they are streets ahead of us. We had nearly all the play but are toothless. No striker on the pitch means you will always get games where we can't score. We have Benteke, play the cunt and find a way of using him and play firmino off him. If klopp is just going to play tippy tappy false 9 **** then **** off now. We have a proven goalscorer, just ****ing hit the cunt. Just bomb crosses in until the summer when we can offload him and get better players in. It's all too clever, too one touch, too off the cuff. When it works we score great goals, it 100% will not work often enough. Arsenal have tried and failed to win **** playing like this for years.
****ing football. It's ****ing bull****. I want to see utd players smashed up and crippled at the very least. Losing again when they did nothing is destroying me.
I think klopp will improve us. But without spending more than the others, the league will never return.
**** like that makes the loss easier to take IMO, if that's what this club, it's so called supporters and modern top flight football in general has become then it really does seem utterly senseless to invest any emotion or passion in it.
The style was great, the intensity was great, the effort was great, we just lacked a bit of quality. Big summer (as always) but I'm feeling positive about next season.

What concerns me about the summer is the players we need to bring in -they have to be 'big' players who can make things happen rather than looking to someone else to do it. Firstly will the owners be willing to spend big on players who will make an immediate impact. Secondly will we be able to attract those players off the back of this season (with no CL football and maybe even no European football at all?)
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
No European football is the least of my concern. It will do us good not to be involved in any European football next year, especially if we'll be rebuilding.

But presumably it will be of concern to the players we are trying to attract.

We should work with what we already have, improve them and see where we are next year. We've bought enough players over the last two years. We have Gomez, Ings, Sturridge, Coutinho and a few others to return and possibly Matip on a free.
