I've rated Allen above Lallana way before his two goals. He just has more game intelligence. And he doesn't seem as weak as he used to be - maybe its the Samson beard.

I'd get some of the kids in for the league, doesn't have to be loads, just Smith at full back and Ojo up top as one example. We've depressingly got a nice chance to **** around here, no hope of the CL, we need title winning form to finish above Spurs if they continue to average their extremely ordinary points per game so far. And obviously we aren't in danger at the bottom. Give em a go, the league cup and Europa is way more important now.

          Exactly.

Strongest team for cup competitions for the rest of the season.

Especially important to have a real good go at winning the Europa.

If we want to keep doing well in the cups maybe we should be playing the kids every game
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'd have liked to have seen Ibe through the middle, even as a striker.

I heard a rumour that Andy Cole has a Benteke pencil case....

Christ how many chances does he need. The fact that he can dig out goals like he did at old trafford in september makes it all the more frustrating. I had 4-0 bet on and im only just calming down after his injury time **** up.....

When he played in tex, the run just before that was good. I thought it was Christians moment and he was going to riffle it in from outside the box. But its almost like he had a thought not to shoot...

There is a player in there. If klopp could get it out of him then it would make JK manager of the year

                    Binteke

Just when you think he can't play any worse, he starts to try dribble and do tricks

Tex hangs a superb ball up for him to nod home and he even somehow ****ed that up

                    Get rid.

Tex looked quality, give him a run with Coutihno and Firmino and we'd see some real movement and chances created IMO. He's Lallana with end product.

Ibe….just has no football brain this kid. Skills out his arse, but zero end product. He's still young though, so it might click, but I'm not holding my breath.

                    Brannagan looks the real deal

Stewart was **** again….im not sure what others are seeing. He gave the ball away countless times and had to bust his arse to retrieve it. Thats not a good performance.

Illori - hardly even noticed him = the sign of a good CB, read the game well and snuffed out any trouble immediately.

Ojo- looks like the next good youngster that will get his shot. What a lovely calm finish that was. Pure class. I'd have him up top instead of Binteke. He can't do any worse, and his movement looks very good.

Flanno Great to see someone with a bit of fire in their belly back.

Jesus ... I have never seen LFC fans give a player such a hard time in such a short period of time

Everyone comes around to my way of thinking eventually

Seriously though. Binteke is horrendous. Looks completely lost out there playing a low division side FFS. Running into an open goal again..no awareness of who's around him and runs the ball out for a goal kick. You couldn't make it up

To be fair he did completely the opposite to that which lead to Texiera's goal.

He had awareness when he slipped Tex in with a beautifully weighted through ball pass on the inside of the defender

He did aye, with the Exeter defence stood five yards off, gawping, and nobody putting pressure on him. Against a decent side he'd have had the ball whipped off his toes while he was still engaging his brain to activate his leg to kick the ball. The lad's a lemon. Another striker transfer premature evacuation by the fabled committee.
