    Wish someone told LvG today.
I'm saying many a midfield would have been over-run by Manchester City's midfield today; including our first choice midfield and especially our reserve midfield.

Please don't compare it to Manchester United's midfield today. A home game as underdogs against an Arsenal team that schedules their bottling job for the first few months of the year.

Ah right, sorry, I thought we were looking to improve incrementally, establish ourselves in the top four while gradually improving the quality of our first team in each window. Didn't realise it was all or nothing.

He certainly lacked any tenacity and wasn't in any way challenging for a second ball. He didn't bust a gut and his head looks elsewhere.

Talking of strikers, Buzzo's touched on it before, but it's telling that we're in need of a goal and Benteke remains on the bench.

We badly need a Texiera or Mkhitaryan type player to drive forward and score goals from midfield.

Let's be honest, we need a lampard, Scholes, Gerrard type player. God knows what our chances are of getting one. Probably quite low. I'm not hating on Henderson but he isn't and never has been lfc captain material.

So then, just got back (from the match on my sisters telly!)

Lucas was superb just a pity he didn't convert the peno, him and Kolo are the most convincing least obvious CB paring I know of!
Sturridge is an issue, Origi again looks like a player worth starting.
Coutinho blew hot and cold Firmino likewise but not helped for me by Studge
Milner was actually pretty good but for the ball he makes of dead balls
Hendo is clearly not actually at the races
                Can ran about a lot
Clyne did pretty well, Moreno really should have just swept that ball in
Mignolet with another ricket and yet other good saves - he really has issues with balls that come in at a relatively narrow angle. Its actually strange he is often beaten at his near post.

That David Craig was a proper gimp, chasing after Caballero, even though he was being holstered and paraded in front of his fans, all for a ****e interview.

That's bollocks. There'll be big changes come summer and we'll spend a good wedge.

Not so sure on big or huge changes. We already have two new players on the books. Maybe, five others to come and go (senior players)
