Thanjk you.

There are only six Premier League games coming up and several officials will miss out including this one. He just happens to be the official that flagged the incident in the spotlight right now.
you can clearly see on 10 seconds in, that the knee hits bentekes standing foot.
it connects slightly from the side, so as benteke is moving forward [the knee then looks like it is behind the foot and on the studs] it has bumped bentekes standing foot and it must have slightly impeded him as he went to take his next step forward.
please copy the above tweet to pardew
removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
the whole "could Benteke have stayed on his feet" debate is crazy. Tea-hairy Henry said it the other day after the game, the attacker doesn't need to try to stay on his feet. As soon as there was contact, then he is effectively "entitled" to go down
all the ****wittery by everyone in football about the penalty incident glosses over the stupid defender diving in and letting it happen.
also just wanted to say tough **** Pardew and I hope you do get dragged into the relegation battle.
Anyone remember Beckham and Rooney getting sent off for England while Ronaldo and Simeone rolled around after hardly being touched. you have to be clever enough to not let it happen in the first place.
While I agree it was a a pen, contact in the box is not automatically a penalty. It's a contact sport. A foul in the box is a penalty and it was clearly a foul cos he tripped him.

Think something must have been lost in translation on that front.
Absolutely everyone I have spoke to this week be it reds or otherwise has said it was a penalty. Even the one palace fan I know says there was contact and Delaney was an idiot for rushing in with seconds to go. Also raging about the free kick straight back to mig. What a fuss over nothing. Media ballicks.
I'd love the likes of Shreeves to ask Pardew (or whoever) something along the lines of " so if there's similar contact on one of your players in the opposing penalty area in a future game you don't think the referee should award a spot kick?"

Every single person I've spoken to this week said it was harsh. Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, United, Man City and Palace fans. Good, satisfies me more knowing how much it's pissing everyone else off
