Great 3 points even if we were a bit lucky. Performance with ten men was brilliant.

Three wins on the trot in PL and only 2 goals conceded in last 6 games in all comps. Solid.

Ha ha, couldn't have written the plot better myself.

I really, really dislike Pardew, so for us to score that late on with such a controversial penalty just makes it even better.

It was a soft penalty, but its still a 50/50 for me. Anyone who's played footy or rugby will know that if you catch the trailing foot with even the slightest contact at the right angle (so it knocks the leg against your front foot) it will take the man down. It doesn't matter how big the man is, even the slightest tap on someone running will bring them down. It wasn't a dive either, it all happened too quick for him to react like that.

All that said, it was still one of those where I wouldn't be complaining had it not been given because it was so hard to see the contact, but some you get, and this was against Pardew, and Pardews a complete c*nt so its all good.

Great character shown today too, despite us not being at our best in the first half, you can't argue with the hunger in the second.

Pardew is a prized bellend. He had his smug smile wiped off his bitter face at the end though. We'be had some horrible luck against palace in recent years with one game in mind so it was great to get some luck against them. We have a game in hand over most the teams above us so let's hope we can go on a run and give ourselves a fight g chance of 4th place.
