Thought we came alive after the sending off. We appear to be better when we are angry/aggrieved.

Team looks unbalanced with Henderson, Milner and Lallana in midfield - too much graft not enough guile and a lack of width. Not helped by having a very defensive fullback in the returning Flannagan on the right.

Terrible soft penalty to concede but no doubt it's a penalty.

He slid to avoid a tackle cos he knew any contact was a pen- but he ****ed it up and took his standing leg anyway.

Terrible dive from Benteke too. I'd be pissed of if that went against us.

It was a clear penalty, no two ways about it. He was tripped once past him.

Delaney's knee catches Benteke's trailing foot so there is contact. Delaney shouldn't have gone to ground to create a situation where a decision had to be made. I'd be raging if it was given against us, but players are told to go down when they feel contact. I'll take it.

We seemed to take heart from our performance against Manchester City but Crystal Palace did well to absorb that early pressure. Our midfield is still to samey and the quicker Moreno is converted to a left winger, the better for my heart. Still positives to take from that, no more so than the character showed when going down to ten men.

Feel sorry for Delaney - he's clearly avoiding any contact and then barely clips him with his knee (although Benteke looks to be on his way down anyway)

Nothing wrong with Moreno playing at left back. I'd rather we have attacking ones than a plodder who doesn't take any risks. The key for us is to have cover when we lose the ball in the attacking third of the pitch.

Moreno is horrendous at his job Fredo. He's a defender and he's ****ing woeful and brain dead at it.

Mignolets save first half, top drawer that. Why can't he do that more often and cut out the stupid ****.
