I thought those two final subs were among the worst I've seen watching Liverpool, turns out they won us the game. What the **** do I know.

Nothing wrong with Moreno playing at left back. I'd rather we have attacking ones than a plodder who doesn't take any risks. The key for us is to have cover when we lose the ball in the attacking third of the pitch.

There are number of mistakes waiting to happen with Moreno at left back. Granted, it wasn't his worst performance for us; Zaha was a threat and one that Moreno dualled well with, but Moreno has an incredible knack of watching the player instead of the ball. His right leg is for balance only and he leads with the wrong leg all the time. His pace gets him out of trouble and it's no surprise to see Klopp put Can or Henderson or both deeper to provide cover.

We already have a dysfunctional midfield without the need to sacrifice one or two midfielders to bail out Moreno.

Obviously Klopp was never going to change the team after midweek but, in hindsight, after the first half, it was clear that the balance was wrong out there (midfield and attack). Thought we looked really good with 10 men and Coutinho on. Best we've played all season

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaks to BBC Sport: "If you are behind it's not so important why and how, the only thing is that the difference is not so big. We had to change the system and had to try to stay offensive. We knew it was risky but at the end we forced it and for us it is a great win."

On Benteke: "It was a perfect change, he really worked hard. His first touch was a big chance and then it was his penalty. He made the move and forced the situation. It was a clear penalty and then he was pretty cool with the penalty. Football is a lot of things and sometimes it's all about passion. What I saw today from my players, they defended with all they had and that's good to see."

On the Firmino goal: "Sometimes you need a bit of luck. We forced it in a way because we were high in our formation. We were there, cool enough and scored the goal."

Confidence high ahead of Europa League meeting with Man Utd: "It feels good in this moment. We have to recover now and then we will be ready."

Moreno is definitely on his way out, I'd love us to go for Ricardo Rodríguez but can he defend?

He will make mistakes as people often do. His quality and his willingness to go forward suits Klopp's pressing game to a T. He will improve other areas of his game as he's only 23.

Hendo is really not offering anything to this team, him being captain is not ideal.

The issue with Moreno is that he gets really anxious when trying to win the ball back . He's like a proper terrier but sometimes he just needs to hold back a bit especially if the opposing player i slooking for a foul.

Crystal Palace midfielder Joe Ledley speaking to BBC Sport: "Getting in a position like that it's devastating. Usually getting into a position like that at home we are okay at seeing things out.

"Second-half, 1-0 up and they are down to 10 men - we should be seeing that out.

"The second goal was harsh I think. I don't think it was a penalty, but if you slide to ground like that in the box you are always going to put it into the ref's mind

Very, very, very pleased with the win. I agree that we played much better when down to 10 men. I'm pleased for Benteke too because it hasn't really worked out for him yet. I just hope this will give him some confidence.

I've got to add that I would seriously consider dropping Henderson for Allen. Listen, I know he's struggled this season with his injuries but there's no excuse for constantly looking to play the ball backwards and sideways. It frustrates the hell out of me. The top class players know where they're going to play the ball before they even receive it. I think Henderson is limited and should only be a squad player next season.
