I agree that [EUROPA] was aesthetically pleasing, but think of the characters, man! What do we do for uniformity when it comes to the Premier League and soon to be Champions League games?!

I'd be ok with a draw even if it was 3-3! Not happy but pretty confident we can do them at their ****hole.
Don't think it's corruption . It's happened way too often since around 1996 for it to be a fluke either.

Generally I think the United players and fans relish these games and go into them expecting to win. We on the other hand go into them ****ting ourselves and fearing the worst.

The fact that these matches mean so much to us as fans (probably more than they do to United fans) puts that much more pressure on the manager and players which also works against us getting results when we play these sods

In addition to all that there's also the fact that they've been a better and more successful side than we have over the last 10 years

They have been tight games which they always seem to edge. I remember so many of these games in which we have arguably been the better side but lost by the odd goal.

Our record against them is terrible just saw some stats:
Since 2000-01 our record against them i all comps:
              Pl38 W15 D 2 L21

We had a good run between 2000-01 and 2002-03 where we won 6 and lost 2 (thanks to largely to Danny Murphy winners )
              Since that good run
              Pl30 W9 D2 L19

Our recent run is awful having lost 8 of the last 10

We really owe them a beating or two
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

corruption, refs & flukes. FFS ya gotta love it.

In recent decades they've just been better than us. As regards LVG's United side, he seems to bring a real workmanlike attitude when playing us, relentless pressing in the midfield & even though they don't have much quality in their side... his sides seem to be very aggressive and take the game to us. He has had a lot of success against us.

We haven't matched them for work rate & IMO we have better players than them. We really need to take the game to them home and away... we are an average team but so are they. It's a tough one to call but will be ****ing unbearable if they knock us out. Liverpool are so jekyll and hyde that you just don't know which one is going to turn up.

If we can reproduce our form against City and the second half against Palace (albeit with 11 men for the whole game!), we'll win this hands down.

We will take your word for it. However, Klopp seems well up for this match
