One thing that stood out to me yesterday was that nobody bollock's anyone for a dumb mistake. The Lovren/Mig **** up that Kane blocked the kick, the insane passes from Sakho and so on - should Hendo be in there ****ing them out of it, telling them to sort it out etc. As a team we are too nice - **** the arm around the shoulder **** someone needs to get lifted and it might spark them into life. Unlucky Simon I'm sure you'll kick it further next time, no problem Mama I should have read your pass across the box, hard luck Dejan who would have guessed Kane would roll you for the goal! Carra would have lifted them.

      My thoughts,

I felt we were shockingly sloppy at times, almost brain dead in decision making, and then other times we looked good...summed up our season in one game.

As much as I like sakho his brain farts really worry me. I've pretty much lost any argument I used to try to make for Moreno now, he's clueless. Our midfield for me once again was poor...they huff and puff but never blow the house down...Can isn't far off but he's only young, he needs two top class centre mids alongside him to carry the burden...Milner is meh and Henderson is clearly struggling, he did some decent things but for the most part just seemed to be bounced around by dembele. Milner sums up this team. Ok. And finally why can't we find anyone in this ****ing squad capable of delivering consistently from set pieces

Positives, Coutinho is quality, and when we click into gear we can be very fluid.

Every game feels the same tho...I come away thinking we desperately need

      GK
      CB
      Two Cm's
      A pacy wide atracker

That's just minimum, being greedy I'd throw in a left back too

Still we worked hard, and I was happy to take the point in what was a fun game to watch
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

When we're good we can be great and vice versa. Fair result. Some terrible play yesterday. Sakho, moreno in particular. Firminho was a big loss. Thought spurs were dangerous.

almost a three way tie for the dog **** award, but milner edges ahead or sakho and moreno by a little white pebble.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I thought we did far too many high risk things (and therefore lost the ball in dangerous positions), far too often tackled facing the wrong way (so swept the ball towards rather than away from our own goal, and the movement in the final third was poor until we scored.

We had more chances but I thought Spurs looked the more balanced and better organised team.

Didn't think he was great either tbh but, watching that back, he did play well. Thanks for posting.

Thats the worst I've seen Sakho play, he was dreadful!

I've always been firmly in the Sakho fan club, I've defended him time and again to mate and called people all kinds. However, since Klopp came in he's only had a handful of good games. Against United he was unbelievable, as dominant a performance as you're likely to see from a CB but its looking like he's just too erratic, we can't afford a CB who's form is capable of dropping so dramatically.. That plus his injury record and I'd have him as a potential sale if a bid came in.

Lovren on the other hand seems to have found a solid footing and looks to be a very decent player these days. In typical footballing fashion though, Sakho's train wreck performance isn't the reason we didn't win, Lovren having a poor moment vs Kane did.

Before writing Sakho off I'd like to see him for a good period inside a decent defensive left back.
Lovren looked the worst CB we'd ever had at LCB alongside Moreno and now Sakho is brilliant one week, an accident waiting to happen the next.
Every team targets our left hand side because Moreno (as we all know) can't defend.

Interesting that Lovren looks much better next to Clyne
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Good point that re Moreno. We know how high Sakho's ceiling is - I'd love to see him next to a reliable left back. He can be so good and I'm not prepared to step down as chairman of his fan club just yet.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

That's a fair point - Jonas Hector to the rescue.

The problem with Sakho is you never know if he's woken up on match day with full control of his legs, and on Saturday, the steps he was taking were more akin to those first made by a baby giraffe.

There were 21 professional footballers on the pitch Saturday, and one imposter who had as much right to be on the pitch as that lad had to appear on the 2005 Champions League team photos.

One to forget by the big man, I'm sure he'll be fine on Thursday.

Thought we played well actually bar a few moments from Sakho and Mignolet.

Had the better chances. If Lallana could strike a ball better...

Lovren was great. Henderson did well too. Think the end to end non-stop action packed game suits him more than the usual fare of patient build-up football.

Milner's industry is defintely a safe bet that manager's love but you can't help but wonder if it's worth sacrificing some of that industry for a bit more quality on the ball...??

I still think we'll see Matip next to Lovren next season.
