Had Firmino been fit Milner would have been on the bench I'd say.

That'll leave a huge gap between the fullbacks for the opposition to exploit.

One to forget by the big man, I'm sure he'll be fine on Thursday.
Sakho mainly created his own problems by trying to play too much football, like trying to chest it down when there was hardly any room and the other one where he tried to let it go over his shoulder and bring it down, as much as it is admirable what he was trying to do sometimes you have to just get rid, or as Sir Bob used to call it play a bit of Ale House football when needed!

We need a better defensive midfielder to dominate midfield. Can is doing that role at the moment and he's not good enough just yet.
          Are we winning?

              No need to be offensive.

Sakho has been great for us but he had a dodgy game. He's still awesome.

Jo Go to slot back in next year and shore up the LB berth.

I hope he gets fit in time as JK will certainly be getting his cheque book out. I think we'll recover all our money on Moreno but I'd still love to see how he'd perform as a left winger

i think we would probably still be 9th in the league.

BUT.......we probably wouldn't have got to the CapOne final and we wouldn't be in the qtr final of the europa either. Also, we would be waiting for him to be sacked because there is no way anyone at the club would have spent another penny in the transfer market with him as manager.

Back to the Spurs game, although we had enough chances to win it (better chances than them i think) we never really had them on the ropes. We never really penned them back in their box for a period of more than 2 minutes and had wave upon wave of attack.

                          My thoughts:

                          - i wouldnt be surprised if Matip ended up as a defensive midfielder in front of Lovren and Sakho. Sakho didn't play that well against Spurs but you know what, if you judge the DL-MS partnership over the last 10 games or whatever they have played together, then it is very good. I thought that Moreno was still a cluster**** to be honest. Public perception seems to be that he is one of these Roberto Carlos style left back wingers that is brilliant in attack so it's okay when he has defensive lapses. Well that is bollox. He is ****e in the attacking third of the pitch as well. And for a guy with such an engine, he doesnt really work hard enough to get back into position either. I would rather see Brad Smith get some game time at this stage of the season so Klopp can see if B-S is a viable back up going forward.

                          - Milner looks pissed off. I wouldnt be surprised if he focked off in the summer. I wonder does he regret joining LFC? It is almost as if he has been spouting the fact that he should be playing centre midfield based on one good season there for Villa and the penny has finally dropped with him that he is a utility player.

                          - Coutinho. Amazing. But not at left midfield please. I think if Barcelona bought him, then they would play him as a #8 in the centre of midfield. To maybe be the replacement for Iniesta. We should consider playing him in the #8 role in centre midfield!!! I hope that this is the future but to be honest i dont think it is.

                          - Sturridge. Much better with a strike partner. Doesnt work hard enough to play up front on his own. When he was substituted the crowd around me (rightly) got pissed off with him because he strolled off. We were on the attack, had a corner, and DS baby-stepped off the ****in pitch. I was hoping he would get Klopp-slapped for that. I hope he goes to the euros, gets 6 goals and a 50m move to PSG so we can get someone with the proper attitude in.

The thing is though, when top quality defenders have a bad game, they might get skinned by someone with pace, or they might get sent off for persistent fouling or just generally have a below par game. When Sakho has a bad game, he loses control of his legs and at times doesn't even look like he should be a professional footballer. Its all very odd with him.
