Some weird comments about Evertonians here, there's mutual contempt whilst we're playing against each other. Most of my family are Evertonians and I don't recognise the perceived stereotype.

There's a huge touch of irony when you talk about stereotyping.

My younger brother's a blue, he's a season ticket holder in the Park End. He goes nuts when he hears things like this at the match. He says all's he can think about is that I'm a red and they're singing **** like that about me. He's been asked by the stewards to calm down a few times when he has a go at the bellends for singing this (he's not the type of lad you start a fight with; he'll end you pretty quickly!)

Not really, Evertonians are just like us except they support the other team. There's a world of difference between the influence of other supporters and that of people of a certain political persuasion. Wanting to win a football match is not the same as wanting to have everything at the expense of everybody else (or even wanting to have everything and not giving a **** about anyone else).
