On current form Firmino should miss out in the away leg. He doesn't keep the ball well enough at the moment, and lallana and Milner have been excellent lately.

I think Kolo isnt quick (either in hishead or with his legs) to cover the ever out of position Moreno. Newcastle game was a cluster**** on our left.

So for me it might be an okay idea to start a midfield of Allen and Milner....with Lucas then dropping into defense alongside lovren....

Not even on page 2 of the build-up! Feels weirdly anti-climatic this game. I think deep down i'm expecting us to piss this. We defo won't obviously

Too much else going on I guess, but Klopp will have the team focused a lot better than us.

For me it's because of the ****in 180° turns this club takes. In a matter of two weeks we go from that brilliant comeback vs BVB, pissing all over Everton and an outside chance of getting 4th place even, to playing Villarreal with Kolo Toure or Skrtel at the back, with key players missing, one of them for ever probably - immediately after squandering (for the third time this season) a two goal lead against total ****e.

I want to say, I'm really optimistic about our future, but sometimes the scenes around this club are seriously annoying. That said, I am looking forward to tonight's game, I think we're capable of finishing this tie in the first leg already.

Struggling to care at the moment, we got the victory that really mattered this week. If we lose 10-0 tonight, arsed. Hopefully I'm more lively by kick off though!!

yeah I think the drama from Dortmund, euphoria from the derby and then pure emotion around Hillsborough has kinda put this game in the background a little.

                  team wise I'd prob go...

                  ------------------------mig------------------------

                  clyne----------lovren-------lucas-----------Moreno

                  --------------allen----------milner-----------

                  lallana---------------------------------coutinho

                  ------------------firminho---------------------

                  -----------------sturridge--------------------

                  something like that?

It looks like it'll be three in the middle tonight if what's been reported is correct. I'd say Sturridge will be a sub with lots of pressing from Milner, Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho.

If this were a domestic trophy, we'd be at Wembley!

We have two top strikers raring to go and our midfield are delivering (Allen, Coutinho, Milner and Lallana). Our defence is a bit **** but so is most of La Liga's!

Can't wait to watch this in 7 hours time, time to get some sleep!!

I've said before that I believe Sturridge will be on the bench. We can bring him on for the last 30 if we want to get a goal back. He'll be starting for the return leg at home.

I'd be shocked if sturridge doesn't start with no origi and benteke seemingly bombed out, sturridge is our only striker added to it that our 'extra' makeshift strike firminho has been **** for a few weeks now

Firmino has been **** in a striking support role. He's a striker for a front three (Coutinho and Lallana for instance).
