Agree with that and with the Firmino / Lallana debate. Both are capable of scoring important goals and they can both equally have one of those games where nothing happens for them.

Sturridge is a must.

I've found it impossible to care about football this week. It hasn't been the best week football-wise, but this is our cup final on Thursday. We have to score goals and I agree that we need Sturridge to start. Play our most attacking team and go for it, we have nothing else to play for.

Go at this lot at Anfield like we went at the Mancs and Borussia Dortmund.

They are a decent team, but better have fallen at Anfield in the EL this term so I expect a big performance from players who now know this competition is their last chance of getting something from this season and from players who need to show that they are worth keeping for next season.


The crowd will be up for it, the manager will be up for it, so the players need to do likewise.

Shouldn't the home leg have its own thread? Have to say I'm ****ting it. Hopefully it's another European night to remember but can't help but think our lack of an away goal will come back to haunt us. These lads will show zero ambition and we'll have to be very clever to break through that blanket defence which is definitely not our strong point.
