The pitch at Anfield is too short.

I've heard that before and it would certainly benefit from lengthening, but it makes no sense given Euro 96 games were played there and world cup games would have been if our bid had been successful.

      FIFA regulations have changed innit.
      Oh I don't know.

Might be wrong but I'm sure I remember reading that the main stand gives us the required media and changing facilities etc, but that we need the Annie road extension to make the pitch and surrounding area compliant.

It's finally sinking in that we are in another European final. It's been a very hard 10 years for us having to see our club on the brink, us fans fighting Hicks and gillet, sending letters to RBS, protests, then when they finally got booted we were in a right mess.

2014 was heart breaking but last season was a true low as after just missing out on the league we all thought we'd be right up there again and being back in the CL was going to be exciting. It was nothing short than disgraceful. I went to the CL games and they were an embarrassment to this club. The low point for me last season was when Rodgers put the second string out against madrid.

This club was built on European football and to see it now being taken seriously again by the Liverpool manager is a joy to behold.

          Liverpool FC are European Royalty.

We will win in Basle and our name will be restored as a European heavyweight.

          We Are Liverpool.

Just watching the game again and Saldado was an utter disgrace.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

My hope is (like someone mentioned elsewhere) Coutinho will turn up if Firmino doesn't and Milner will continue his Mr Consistently Good performances. Plus, its a final with Klopp on your back.

Fck it, roll on the final!
