Will Klopp play a 2nd 11 against all three PL opponents or make sure to mix and match and keep players (esp Can) fresh. It would be a risk if they went into a final "cold" but the risk of injury is a real one. Lose any of Koko, Lovren, Clyne, Can, Sturridge, Firmino, Milner, Coutinho, Lallana and I'd fear the worst.

With two games left they could catch Celta Vigo to grab an EL spot (5 points gap), they have the Copa Del Rey (v Barca) just 4 days after the EL final so They do have a few things to think about. Maybe they'll put all the eggs in the one basket but there might be some pressure to show up in the Copa final.

Probably a more suited time for this thread to come out now.

Think today's team selection told us the probable team we should expect for the final, the only "maybe" for me is Henderson.

In all honestly I hope we don't play him, think the team has looked stronger in midfield without him, as sub for the last 15-20 minutes maybe but not from the start.

I wonder if we will go with a defensive approach of Allen and Can with Milner wide for probably Firmino, or go all out and leave wee Joe on the bench(which shouldn't happen)

In the league, yes, but they're in the Copa del Rey and Europa League final (again) so they're pretty good in knockout footy.

Yep this is true and the have lost their last 3 games on the bounce
In the last 9 games they have won just 1 game, drew another and lost the other 7

They lost 4 out of 6 in the CL
and last 3 games in the Europa won 1 lost 1 and drew 1

They are there for the taking

I believe a couple of there best players are also injured

A nice trophy win where we as fans are not put through the ****ing ringer would make a pleasant change from the norm. A 3 nil or suchlike would be most welcome.

Not sure my heart is up for a 5-4 or a 3-3 and pens. We always seem to milk every ounce of drama possible out of a cup win.
