Canos won't be asking for a 3 years deal either, it'll be 4 or 5 years starting on 10k a week and rising, all contracts are.
As I said in the Rossiter thread months ago - he was asking for money well above his experience and ability so (imo) the club were right to say no to him, Canos is the same.
I'd have liked to keep both of them but if they would rather chance a quick pay day at a lesser club good luck to them, football is a short career and they have to make their money while they can.
