Really struggling to think of good english keepers.....and even ones that have looked half decent like Butland and Foster do they have the distribution that Klopp wants?
I don't get this dislike of Hart though , he actually does make saves and was part of the city team that won the league a couple of times

All this rubbish about having a keeper that can play at the back seems to mask other problems when the primary job is to make saves

I think Karius has been pushed into the team too early but Mig isn't exactly good either.

If we had've wanted him, Joe Hart wouldve been with us this season.

I think he would be ideal. ( But i'm not the manager !! )

Karius is a good keeper, but he's not as good as Joe Harte

I dont think Karius is super accurate with his distribution out from the back. What he does have is the heads up ability to give it straight away which gets us on the offensive quickly. Mig takes an age and then kicks it out for a throw.

Karius is young for a keeper but its not like he's a 17 year old kid - hes been playing bundesliga level for a while. De Gea comparisons are all very well given his poor start but with Mig starting the season as well as he did there should be no reason not to bring him back in. Confidence issues get banded about a lot as a reason not to drop karius but surely to keep getting slated as the main reason your team isnt sitting only 1 point off the top of the table in a season where we have an amazing chance to win the title is just as confidence sapping.

If you cant look good on a Youtube highlights reel there is something wrong

In an ideal world we buy a world class keeper in January and keep Karius as back up till he learns to catch and save.

I am hoping that Klopp looked at Mignolet and thought we have had to replace him at any cost. The best available was Karius but Klopp knew he wasnt good enough but wanted him as back up so we are buying a top top keeper in January..... Wishful thinking though unfortunately!

Big call. He's not been great but Mig isn't either. I hope we're on the lookout for someone else in January.

                      Really?

Mignolet or Karius neither has shown to be good enough for LFC

Feel for the lad, but it's no different to dropping an out of form striker. He just needs to take his licks and come back a better player.

Exactly. He needs to toughen up, train like mad and show a good attitude. Let's be honest, it won't be long before mignonette ****s up again. Karius will play in the fa cup and the league cup. Lucky boy all things considered.

Let's be £70m for the German number 1.

The Payet free kick and Karius' limp wrists were almost identical to Hart's attempt to save Bale's free kick during the Euro's. Hart seemed to make an increasing amount of errors with each passing season, he'd be on massive wages and his distribution is poor with no real prospect for improving.

Karius at least has time for improvement, I don't think Hart is a very good goalkeeper, or at least not anymore.
