I'd buy 2 new keepers. He's bought in the new keeper so he isn't likely to drop him (even though it looks like he could do with being out of the side).

I can't see anything in him. He's poor at one on ones, his shot stopping isn't good, he looks indecisive, any decisions he makes look like the wrong one (eg today punching a corner straight out to the West Ham player on the edge of the box) when he could catch and his body language suggests his confidence is low.

Easy to talk, not so easy to perform it seems.I can't stand Mig but this lad is doing himself no favours. I really don't want to go back to a lad who conceded a goal with the first shot he faced something like 11 times last season.

Boro are the most shot shy team in the league so it's unlikely we'll find out much there. The derby will be a challenge, he looks nervous and the performances are likely to be making him more so.

I agree, we need to spunk some serious wedge in January on a better keeper.

There has to be a more experienced keeper somewhere out there.

This guy has already cost us and will continue to do so until the end of the season if he carries on at this level

Genuinely can see him ruining our season and before you say I'm going over the top it could only take a few more games where he costs us more points for that to happen. Only City have a keeper as bad as us at the minute and our other rivals are ****ing miles ahead of us in keeper quality.

We had one as bad as this last season too and replaced him with someone like this. That takes some doing. By the way if anybody thinks we should play Mignolet then have a read of his thread from around this time last season. Same ****, different fella.

Mignolet was terrible, was dropped, came back and played well. And then started this season pretty well too. Karius should have been made to wait until either we needed him or he was definitely ready. But having put Karius in we need to stick it out, he wasn't awful today and didn't throw any goals away like the west ham keeper, even though he could have done better. If he completely falls apart then we need to bring Mignolet in but that hasn't happened yet.

Mig was terrible, was dropped for Brad Jones two seasons ago, did ok for a bit and then was rubbish for large parts of last season. He kept a lot of clean sheets while also conceding a lot of goals from the first shot aimed at his goal in a lot of games. He did OK this season but still conceded lots before getting dropped.

Neither are good enough right now.

Yeah...sometimes you have to splash the cash for a top goalie. We always seem to be picking up bargins in that area. A great keeper inspires the defence. At the moment we just seem to be waiting for the next ****up. Im sure they are too. No confidence at all.

He may turn out great but he's messing us up whilst he does so.
