Cant have that. The Manc vultures wont stop unless it's someone they can't bully through the media.
You know what, I agree with you Disappointed in Carra as well, all this criticism make Karius' job harder but if he comes through this period it will be a valuable experience. The team needs to stick together and take collective responsibility now.

Hamann has weighed in on it too. He and Carragher having a bit of a spat on twitter with Carragher getting personal with his reply.

I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Never argue with an idiot on the internet. Esp if you are a player and the idiot is a pundit. You'll never be allowed to have the last word and everyone who is not a supporter of the player/club will back the pundit/hack just out of spite!

oh and Carra is just another tool on the telly. Christ, why can't these people go off and open pubs or retire to the Costa Packet?

This could become Klopp's equivalent of Rafa's "facts" rant millstone.

Klopp has responded in a way he felt necessary, from a Liverpool fans point of view Carragher should be doing more than throwing the lad under the bus too. Comparing it to Rafa's rant is ridiculous and I'm pretty sure you're aware of that.

As for your 'what Kenny would have done' thats pure conjecture and on more than a few occasions he let the media have it.

Of course it's conjecture. Not suggesting otherwise.

But this comes across as a bit of a rant to me. You can disagree if you wish. But I don't think it is ridiculous at all.
            Oh I don't know.

Even if it is a rant, which I don't agree with really. How is it comparable to the Rafa incident? Just because that was also a rant? Or are you suggesting its a meltdown of an equal proportion? Since day one its been obvious what Klopp thinks about the media surrounding Premier League football, he's sharp with them on a weekly basis pretty much. I think he's out to protect a young player, new to the country and isn't happy with the media tactics being deployed. Which actually has been pretty poor from Neville who is usually objective and not personal but on this occasion he's broken character or should I say, returned to character (the manc sod )

Anyway these things are often blown out of proportion and portrayed as 'victories' or 'defeats' in the press. Truth is its the results on the pitch in the coming weeks that determine that, if Rafa won the league that year the incident would have likely been thought of completely differently.

Dom just says the first thing that comes into his head then looks for ways (however spurious) to back it up when a simple "I know-I was talking ****e" would be easier.

I missed the “He showed he struggled with a job to judge players, why do we let them talk about players on television?" part. I'm not too sure that was necessary to be honest.

If you read what I said, it was that this could become Klopp's own millstone, and it does read like a bit of a rant to me (I've not seen the footage, but it doesn't read that great).

I've not suggested that the Rafa episode was a meltdown either. It wasn't. It was calculated - he read from a piece of paper.

Say results don't pick up any time soon, I'm pretty happy to bet (a sportsman's bet) that people will look for a moment with Klopp, and that they will find it in this episode. It's what happens.

Had Rafa won the league, you might well be right - his press conference could have blown over and been forgotten. It's an extension of the same argument I'm making here, no? It's about the labels and meanings people assign to moments, which may or may not be an accurate representation of what happened.

The whole thing is getting silly. Pundits are paid to chat **** about football. It's a time filler for TV networks. It only makes a difference to anything if you let make a difference so you've got to completely ignore it. Karius us a young fella so it's someehat understandable that he might get riled and bite stupidly. But for Klopp to ramp the issue up even further, drawing even more attention to Karius and his poor form is stupid, quite frankly. I know there are lots of childish minds interested in football who will say stuff like 'cunts deserve it' etc, but in the adult world it's frustrating that we let ourselves get drawn into pointless PR faux pas so often.

Yep, I think he went a bit far.

Anyway. Let's move on. We all agree with each other, or we don't, or something in between.

In other words be a doormat. Nah, thankfully the manager isn't a ****bag like yourself.

                            Meh.

When you watch the interview it's totally measured and conversational. It's also totally fair comment Gary Neville was a truly horrendous coach. Surely the least we can do is put the Nevilles in their place..?

I don't think Klopp cares for all the media bull**** anyway, and they clearly love him.

Why would it frustrate you Kenneth, none of it really matters, it's just people in football talking about football, not really that important in the grand scheme of things.

So Klopp had a go at the Nevilles, is that really so bad ? Worth getting frustrated about ?

                              Not imo.
