I agree but its more of a plea than anything else. Problem is, I would have thought a high percentage of the trolls are not Liverpool supporters, just other fans trying to cause as much damage as possible. If I was him I would just withdraw from all social media, as what you dont see or hear cant have an adverse effect on you

He is the only senior goalkeeper available right now, the other two are just youngsters. Its a catch 22 situation with regard to playing him, damned if you do and damned if you dont

Yeah it's terrible to see. Gutting. He's just a young guy struggling in his career, it must feel even worse considering he was doing really well at a certain point after already having to battle initial poor form and criticism, and I'm pretty sure right now he'd give away every cent he has to get another shot at that throw past Benzema, but he can't I hoped he'd make a good n.1 at the club for years, but right now this situation needs to be dealt with, as it's becoming toxic for everyone.

Terrible to see so many LFC supporters - S*n and Murdoch haters, friends and relatives of Hillsborough victims, YNWA fans - joining in this mass online lynch of some 25 year-old who's made a mistake in sports and is probably more depressed because of that final than anyone else right now.

Settle down. We've signed a new keeper last week. He'll be taken out of the limelight soon enough.

Just a thought, but shouldn't LFC fans use his social media to support him at this moment in time ?

If concussion really was the issue, and i don't see why it wouldn't be, then he must feel like an innocent man in prison right now.

If only that were the case.

            The problem will always exist.

It's basically bullying. The same dickheads would go crazy if their kids were getting this treatment.

I don't give a **** how much he earns etc. it does need to stop.

Until we see people getting prosecuted for internet trolling/ death threats etc it will continue.

Agreed but it is not just our fan base mate. It's just the football supporting world in general.

Totally agree. I feel sorry for the people who behave this way too mind you, got to have some crap in your life to need to act that way.

Yes, it will always exist, until we can stop people acting differently online than they do off.

I'm all for the internet being fun, but there should be a line people know not to cross, especially when comments are aimed directly at someone for the sole purpose of causing them pain or humiliation.

At the time I saw it I didn't actually think it was that bad of a mistake tbh. Pulisic hit it pretty hard and the defence didn't react to the ball breaking in the box afterwards. His mistake from the kick first half was worse.

The club are failing him now though - he needs to be taken out of the spotlight and left to remain confidence/composure etc. Playing him when his confidence is shot is more detrimental to him now and it will only get worse.

The best thing for Karius & LFC is for him not to play and as I said above, the club (Klopp) are failing him now by making him play when he is clearly under huge pressure with the world waiting for another error.
My bad but I feel he should have done better with it.

I agree that the club should protect him now & take him out of the firing line. If that means loaning him out then so be it.

From a cuddle perspective he needs taking out of the firing line because hes burnt, falling over himself all the time and its painful to watch.

From the clubs perspective they need to find out if he can tough it out and show he has the balls to sort himself out. If he isnt mentally strong enough then he is finished.

It would have been better for all parties if we parted ways this summer. The pressure he is under every time he sets foot on the pitch is immense and it doesn’t seem like he can handle it. Send him on loan or sell him even at a loss to wherever he is most comfortable. Probably not going to be the opinion of most, but am glad that he still has a bit of fight in him to make a reply back.

After us buying Alisson, it should be pretty obvious to all that he is now our number two keeper, so whilst we cannot control what fans of other clubs say about him, and as such our own support should just take things for what they are.

It is just a couple errors in meaningless pre season games by a guy who will not be our starting keeper come the start of the season.

We have had plenty of other pre season games in the past in which players who would not be starting the season in the first team made mistakes, and we were not climbing over ourselves to stick the knife in.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Hopefully, the club re-inforce his No 2 position by selling Mignolet
