There's plenty on here too who have had the knife sharpened, seemingly waiting with glee for him to make a mistake so that they can fall over themselves in the rush to tell everyone "I told you so".

The same with Lovren. I honestly think that some people would rather he ****ed up again so they could be proven right, than for him to be flawless in every game.

Back to Karius... there is no excuse to get abusive about the guy. He ****ed up. ****ed up again. And the club have ruthlessly replaced him with the finest goalkeeper money can buy right now. Karius is keeping the gloves warm until Alisson finishes his holiday. It's not remotely important that he made a howler in a pre-season friendly in which he is mentally not able to cope with.

OK, maybe play Mig instead. But so what? It doesn't matter.
        Oh I don't know.

I think it's fairly legitimate to discuss players on a football forum to be fair.

I didn't say it wasn't, to be fair.

as much as the likes of twitter has good, it doesn't half do so much bad

the amount of vitriol on there is unbelievable - it's just given such a platform for sad bitter little cunts/trolls

some of the stuff I've seen about KArius is ridiculous - then things from random fans of say many city all of a sudden ****ing hating Liverpool - so the inevitable Hillsborough or Heysel slurs come up and then you get our fans responding

then you get cunts like piers morgan spouting absolute ****e

then things like transfer rumours ending in the owners wife getting absolute nutjobs messaging her saying "announce Fekir or **** off" etc - the world has gone mad.

                  it's tiresome.

Yes karius had a ****ing howler in the champions league final (concussed or not) - but bigger better players have made bigger mistakes.

                  it's nuts.

With regards to Karius - he just needs to be taken out of the firing line for a while - maybe a loan somewhere to build up his confidence and reputation
People losing their **** about a ****ing game is insane. Atrocities, war crimes and political corruption carried out across the world get less focus and criticism than some poor ******* ****ing up in a football match.

I've rarely in my life wanted someone to bounce back in a blaze of blazing glory as I now do this lad. He's a 25 year old kid who's just starting out in the context of the position he plays and this sort of thing could ruin him. It's this sort of **** that leads to mental health issues, self esteem issues, depression etc etc. Those attacking him just need to **** off and focus on their own empty, **** pathetic lives. **** the internet and all those negative ****s who feel the need to pollute it.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

That's a decent shout. Although the sending off was possibly a bit unlucky and his team still won. And it wasn't CL final or anything

Absolutely, and any criticism here is fair enough. The line is crossed by idiots on social media who message him direct, or comment on his timeline, that is out of order.

Yeah it was against the Mancs, but it wasn't like it was a title decider or anything though, so still pales in comparison to a CL final.

Not sure why the sassy tone there...but yeah that's a good shout. Attackers always seem to get away with their mistakes.

just not heard anyone mention england's captain making two significant errors in the biggest game england have had in almost 30 years where as the spotlight has been so much on our GK since he had his poor game.
