feel so much for him
as much as the likes of twitter has good, it doesn't half do so much bad
the amount of vitriol on there is unbelievable - it's just given such a platform for sad bitter little cunts/trolls
some of the stuff I've seen about KArius is ridiculous - then things from random fans of say many city all of a sudden ****ing hating Liverpool - so the inevitable Hillsborough or Heysel slurs come up and then you get our fans responding
then you get cunts like piers morgan spouting absolute ****e
then things like transfer rumours ending in the owners wife getting absolute nutjobs messaging her saying "announce Fekir or **** off" etc - the world has gone mad.
it's tiresome.
Yes karius had a ****ing howler in the champions league final (concussed or not) - but bigger better players have made bigger mistakes.
it's nuts.
With regards to Karius - he just needs to be taken out of the firing line for a while - maybe a loan somewhere to build up his confidence and reputationi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

No excuse for people bombarding him on social media with abuse.
But he would be best off ditching social media for now. He needs to keep his head down and crack on. Most people won't go to the point of finding his address and actually writing an abusive letter. So why not make your life easier? Or does he need to feed his ego?
There is nothing wrong with our fan base. It's exactly the same as everyone else's. Just like in society there will be an element of knobs and supporting Liverpool in no way removes that element. Niave to think differently.
There's a decent keeper in there, hell we saw flashes of that. He just needs to clear his head.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde

I don't feel for him.
He a professional goalkeeper, paid millions of pounds, and he can't catch a ball consistently (or parry it anywhere other than straight to the oppo striker), or notice the opposition's striker standing 5ft away from him when he's rolling the ball out.
It's not like he's 17, he's 25. Proper full adult.
Yet we get all this instagram crap, laying into pundits where - quite justifiably - they are pointing out that he doesn't warrant his place in the side. Now he's talking about moving away from Liverpool: please, please Lorius. Find a club willing to pay your wages and I will drive you there (not China).

I don't know enough about his mental state to really comment but I agree he brings quite a lot on himself and i don't share the same sympathy others on here have for him.Originally posted by Patricks_Berger View PostI don't feel for him.

What is pretty clear is he isn't good enough so if we can find a move for him we should. I don't even think he did particularly well last year either. We've got Alisson now so we can all move on and wish him well.

I have to be honest, I do sympathise with Karius, but I can't think of any individual making two such clangers in such a high profile game.Originally posted by PTP View Postfeel so much for him

Karius seems like he's a good footballer but he's not a very good keeper. Seems to let in quite a lot of goals where he's just stood in his place. Fair enough, he probably has no chance of saving it, but he doesn't even make an attempt. I dunno, it just seems really odd how often he's just planted in his spot. Their second goal yesterday was an example of this.
Personally, he hasn't handled the criticism well at all with his performances. Maybe he's not in a good place. That's for the club to decide and those closer to him.
As for selling him, his stock is so low at the moment that the club won't get anywhere near his value.

Oh I don't know.
The various incidents involving Suarez that led to him being banned for long periods of time would count, as would things like Cantona kicking the fan during a game.
Things like that cost the team the availability of a top player for a prolonged period of time.
I know it is not the same as making a mistake on the ball, but it is still something stupid or scummy being done during a game that then goes on to affect the team in the short or long term.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

No, but they had the outcome of a top class player making himself unavailable for big games thanks to doing something stupidI don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

I wonder if Klopp and co have a plan to bring in a replacement No.2, because I don't think that was their intention at all.
Even in the cup games, Karius is going to eyeballed like there's no tomorrow. I do feel sorry for him (wages and being an adult aside). There's no one worthwhile on a free transfer, and I can't think of anyone who'd consider taking that role.

So what? Does that justify some of the scum sent his way? Death threats etc.Originally posted by Patricks_Berger View PostI don't feel for him.

"Proper full adult" or otherwise, I definitely feel some of the stuff he's had to deal with is uncalled for.
